I received a couple copies of the finished Lilly Pulitzer Fine Stationery & Gifts Fall 2009 catalog a few days ago! Yay! Looks great! Thanks to Cheree Berry Papers for the excellent prop styling and project coordination. More photos… (more…)

A unique wedding show & market to be held in Chicago. On 01.30.2010, Indie Wed will cater to unconventional couples who are taking a more modern, edgy, or eco-friendly approach to their special day as well as the more conservative couples who simply want to spice things up a bit. The event will highlight the world of local independent designers specializing in various wedding related fields including stationery, cakes & pastries, fashion, catering, floral design and photography. What will also make this event unique is that it will be both a wedding show as well as a market where vendors will be able to sell their wedding related wares on the spot! Link above for more info.

I’ve been in love with House of 3’s digital kits from day one! Their newsletter just popped into my inbox! A new printable kit for popcorn bags, sparklers and garland - what I love most?! The reddish poppy color mixed with blue, and you print it yourself! You could totally use these for your summer wedding and/or 4th of July bash! Link above.

It’s Monday AND it’s moving day (if this is new to you - we are relocating back to San Francisco with a pit stop in St. Louis for the month of July). This post was hard for me to put together. So many options…I had a folder made of great photos of friends, but the more I looked at them the harder it was to not be sad. Chicago you’ve been good to us. The winters were hard (really hard) but the old and new friends you brought us were beyond excellent. Sure I’ll have memories of the landmarks but the good times were with the people we love as family - they will be more than missed. So while we drive away, I’m going to keep this short and sweet with a quote from my favorite childhood author.
“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.” - Dr. Seuss.
