Take a sneak peek at Traci and Marty’s wedding photography! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! I can’t say that enough about Traci and Marty. Held at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens in Brentwood, TN – you couldn’t have asked for a better day of weather, incredible photography light and the ones they love. Can I just say that when I was prepping for this sneak peek, tears were rolling as I remembered how sweet Traci and Marty were with one another. It makes complete sense why they have such perfect family and friends. Check out some of the wedding photography…

Traci’s two sisters (bridesmaids) and niece (flower girl) were so friendly and kind. I love the bright spring flowers and chocolate brown dresses! The colors complimented the outdoor space and looked amazing on them! Florist: Moss’s Florist & Garden Center

Check out these handsome guys! The sky blue ties gave a pop of spring as well – Marty’s suit was pin-striped, which added a unique and small detail. The groomsmen wore sky-blue, thin striped ties – Marty in a bolder strip. Assorted ties add a nice twist to the ordinary groomsmen wardrobe. Very charming!

The ceremony was held in the lawn of the Frist Learning Center against the rock ledge and gorgeous floral altar. I give Traci the award for most smiles and laughter during a ceremony – adorable! They are head over heels for each other! I loved being able to photograph the distinct emotion – they reminded me why I love my job so much! Ceremony Music: Gypsy Hombries

Traci and Marty were extremely comfortable with the camera. There was no need to direct them at all! When getting married – the best thing you can do is try and forget the cameras are there. Have fun and remember who you are sharing this special day with – you’re natural expressions will shine in every photograph.

Ginkgo leaf designs were used in the program, favor and decor for the cocktail tables. Ginkgo trees also surrounded the reception area – such a unique and personal touch.

The reception was held outdoors in the Frist Learning Center’s courtyard. Plenty of room for tables and a large dancing area to the side. I love the string lights! They added just enough warmth to the photographs at night. Also, there’s an advantage to having videographers at your wedding because they have spot lights on top of their cameras, which add a great effect to photographs! Video: Lifetime Reel

Just shortly after the first dance, bad thunderstorms were headed towards the area. Luckily, it held off just before the reception ended but just in time for Traci and Marty (with their closest friends/family) to dance in the rain!! Such a lively group – it was my first wedding reception in the rain – literally! There was no stopping them – don’t worry the dj was able to take cover and continue the party!
