Is there anyone who has never shopping online?! I’m sure there are a rare few - but to the rest of us (me especially) I do most of my shopping online! Thanks to the internet and technologies, wedding registries have come a long way! I came across this new site called Wishpot. A one stop online registry shop! It’s very new, but easy as pie! This was long awaited - your guests can shop in their pjs and purchase from stores they may not have in their hometowns. All your favorite stores are essentially bookmarked into your registry. Have an online wedding site or blog? Add your registry to it and save paper in your invitations Awesome for baby registries too! Check out the link above to see how it works.

A little birdie (ok, it was lovely Lauren of Staunch Knits) sent me a link to Holly Stalder yesterday! Amazing! My personal taste towards anything wedding dress tends to be more romantic vintage, so I thought others could enjoy it as well! I’ve seen a lot of wedding dresses, and believe me it’s all about how it makes you feel that gives the wedding day glows…but it’s refreshing to see designers step away from the strapless a-line. Ultra feminine, lush fabrics and romantic lace - you have to check out Holly’s collection, blog and Etsy shop!! Her Portland studio takes appointments for wedding dress consultations. Isn’t he adorable?! This portrait session was a birthday present for Wally’s mom from his dad - super cute. He was full of energy, I could hardly keep up with him! Lincoln park hosted our playtime and let me tell ya - that red ball was everything to Wally. He was so much fun! Sometimes I wish I could have that much energy! Sneak peek time! I traveled to Joplin, Missouri this time for Kassandra and David’s intimate celebration! A bit camera-shy at first, both shared relaxed and calm spirits over the two day wedding. I have to thank them and their families for being such sports during the unpredictable weather and crazy humidity! I didn’t know my eyelids could sweat that much! The wedding photography reflected nothing but joy and kindness towards one another - it was a pleasure to have shared both days with them! (more…)

A 2007 bride of mine shared a link with me last night with this photo!  She had a friend who was married in Sweden - they used Erika Gerdemark Photography…while doing some exploring she found some trash the dress photos on the blog! I just had to share this one - it’s stunning!  It’s a trend that’s been around for a while and is spreading universally!
