Sneak peek time! I traveled to Joplin, Missouri this time for Kassandra and David’s intimate celebration! A bit camera-shy at first, both shared relaxed and calm spirits over the two day wedding. I have to thank them and their families for being such sports during the unpredictable weather and crazy humidity! I didn’t know my eyelids could sweat that much! The wedding photography reflected nothing but joy and kindness towards one another - it was a pleasure to have shared both days with them!

Getting ready was easy-breezy for the parties, especially since we were in air-conditioned rooms! Kassandra’s dress and shoes were my favorite, and I loved the bridal suite at Forest Park Baptist Church! Super big and hosted a great space for photographing bridal details.

The chapel held their closest friends and family patiently awaiting…a great glam shot of her coming down the aisle!

We were lucky the first day with no rain - just extreme heat! Thanks for being so cooperative guys! A church reception was held after the ceremony with great conversation, lots of laughs and goodies!

Day two - the weather held out on us before the reception/party! My favorite moment is spending time with the couple without guests around. It always turns out more affectionate and definitely reflects that in the photographs.

Kassandra and David brought their two chocolate labs to play! Her sister and brother-in-law also brought their boston terrier for some photo-ops! I was in heaven!

I really liked the idea of the couple changing into more comfortable attire for the second day. Not only was the weather unpredictable, the dogs running around…but it seemed to have fit Kassandra and David’s personalities. Anything that puts you back into your comfort zone improves your wedding photographs! Great idea guys!

And the party goes on…lights, cupcakes and lots of dancing! Joplin’s Museum Complex hosted dinner and dancing.
