Lauren of Staunch shared this amazing find with me - a set of wedding bands based on a recording of a person saying “I do”!  Wedding rings have always had some sort of customization done to them, but I think the trend of fully customizing/creating a unique band takes full force in 2009.  Check out the amazing jewelry of Sakurako Shimizu.

So I was doing a little web style shopping this morning (yes I do shop at Paper Source!) and had one of those ‘wait a second…’ moments!  Ha!  I came across some photos I shot for Paper Source a few weeks ago.  My shots featured here are the ones in the banner/header of each page.  There could be more online but these are the ones I came across first.  I have yet to see the holiday catalog that I shot for…I’ve been told it may or may not come out.  That’s how the business goes - some photos make it, others don’t :)  But I will keep you posted…I thought these would be fun to share! Good morning and happy Monday!  Flurries here in Chicago, I can’t believe it!  I’m introducing a new album, card and postcard design called Little Birdie!  Fully customizable and can be used for just about any event - although don’t you think it works well with babies and kids?!  It’s so adorable!  We could even spice up your wedding album pages if you wanted :)  I especially love this design because it’s playful yet still clean and polished.  Check out the rest of this 20 page album… (more…)

The fashion runways walked it and the bridal magazines made it official - gray is the new brown for weddings in 2009!  While I still love brown and you should too…gray switches the color palette to cooler tones.  It’s one of my personal favs :)  Even though gray is a cool tone, it doesn’t mean you can’t spice it up!  There are a wide variety of color combinations you can chose from but the added bonus with this trend….is that you can mix and match colors that you never thought would go! Brights, pastels, monochromatic - you can’t go wrong.  And keep in mind, gray comes in all tones and variations such as a lavender or pewter (adding a touch of purple or blue to it).  So think out of the box!!
