You guessed it!  Do it yourself crafts are huge for weddings in 2009.  I think it’s a combination of terrible economy, budget-friendly ideas and well, people are super creative these days!  I wanted to share some of the great diy ideas for your floral wedding centerpieces out there – everything from ceramic cereal bowls, porcelain tea cups, old loose tea tins and paper bags!

Using your household items not only saves some wedding dollars but creates a fun and personal look to your wedding decor.  I love the use of different sized bowls, cups, pitchers and glass containers.  It’s all about mixing and matching in 2009.

Paper of all kinds!  These are white paper bags with glass vases inside to hydrate the flowers of course.  I’ve seen paper cones stuff with wild flowers inside glass vases as well.
