Lisa and Randy, what can I say but a match-made in heaven!  I’m so very excited that I’m able to share this sneak peek with you before I head out town for the weekend.  Their wedding ceremony and reception was held in Oak Park, just west of Chicago.  With a romantic and whimsical blend of details, Lisa and Randy had a charming, intimate wedding of just 35 guests!  You are going to love these photos, I do!

The ceremony was held in the Fern Room inside the Oak Park Conservatory.  Lisa was serenaded by her father, sister and little cousins singing while her mother walked her down the cobblestone path.

I love the idea of their closest friends and family surrounding them during their vows!

Randy has 2 super cute sons – they showed me all the birds in and around the Tropical Room.

Stunning blue eyes!!  Lisa wore a gorgeous gown from J.Crew and embellished it with vintage details from Baby Dolls Boutique. I adore the cap sleeve, so classy and flattering!!

A little note from Randy…

I tend to keep my photographs somewhat pure in the way they were shot but certain parts of the day felt very vintagey-flea-marketish, thanks to digital I can have the best of both worlds :)  Love how the photos above turned out a bit old-timey.

The dinner reception took place at Caffe De Luca in Forest Park.  Adorable outdoor space on the 2nd floor!  Rustic italian details and eats were to.die.for!

After a toast from the father of the bride and Randy, Ben (Randy’s youngest son) wanted to end the toasting session with a joke.  Keep in mind he was too shy to say it himself so he whispered it into Randy’s ear so that he could say it out loud.  ”Knock knock” “Who’s there?” “Smellmop” “Smellmop who?” “POO, Ha!”  Very cute and special moment for everyone.
