Finally Moved In – Living Quarters Meet Readers!

As you are reading this, I’m on a plane flying to Chicago for the weekend! Grace and Geoffrey’s wedding day has arrived! So while I’m away, I invite you to browse my new living quarters in San Francisco. J and I worked very hard putting this place together, and I think it suites both of our dandy personalities extremely well. Don’t just stand there, come on in!

Our ‘pine mist’ bedroom – at least that’s what the wall paint color calls itself – is calm and cool. (just how I like it). Remember me painting this bed frame in St. Louis during our lay-over between cities? I think it works quite well here don’t you think? Postcard collage on canvas – I decoupaged for one of J’s birthdays. I’m still working on hanging photos in the bedroom – white frames with black & white photos of friends and family.

This ole Target dresser got a nifty makeover – drawer knobs were switched out to a sassy red and beige.

Above photo, my girlie knick-knacks in the bathroom. Girls gotta have a place for her jewels! Thank goodness for existing shelving units in bathrooms, by the way.

Home office (left) – not completely finished. Need some photos hung in the surrounding.

DIY fishy cabinet (right) – Ikea cabinet with glass window doors. Paper Source 30% recycled single sheets of paper cut and adhered with the magic of tape on the inside of the door – presto chango! The cabinet houses all electronics, equipment and office things. DIY cat scratcher – roll of leftover sisal carpet from a carpet warehouse.

Details and kitties – Boris and Desher both in their favorite spots.

Couch and chaise lounge purchased from EQ3. A little over a couple years ago, J and I found salvaged vintage ceramic tiles (apparently from a fireplace) and decided to make a coffee table with them – tile on top.

Thanks for the tour! (Why is it so much fun to look into other people’s homes? I mean via the web, not through their window, of course.) You did a fantastic job, everything looks wonderful!

Wow, this place is beautiful! I just found your blog via a link to your home decor wedding photos on Intimate Weddings. I’m so happy I clicked over, I’ll be subscribing so I don’t miss a thing. I would also LOVE to link to that wedding photo post if you don’t mind. I know my readers would love it!
