Ummm, where did the morning go!?  It’s been hectic. Like captial H, hectic.  So I’m going to just cut to the chase.  Yup, I’m leaving AGAIN :)  Oh San Francisco, my cats and my Jman…poor guys.  I fly out this weekend to the Los Angeles area for a week long shoot with Lifeguard Press for 2 fabulous stationary/gift catalogs – Lilly Pulitzer and Jonathan Adler Nifty Gifties.  Posts will be light as usual…but this time around I hope to post 1 photo a day of the behind-the-scenes on the blog!!  So be on the look out!  In the meantime, check out one of my new fav illustrators, Paul Madonna (I believe he’s SF based too).

My goodness is this brown-eyed girl SO adorable!  Meet Zalia, a shy-but-once-I-get-to-know-you-I-warm-up kinda gal :) I couldn’t get over how stunning she is and I must admit, I’m totally jealous of her haircut!  If you like fall, tutus, frilly and hello kitty…you’ll love this photo session! Oh the blog is ooozing with cuteness this morning!  Meet Niko and his family!  You actually know them more than you think…Vana (mom) is my friend, Smitten Sticks partner and owner of Le Papier Studio!  I was so excited when she asked me to take some fun and fresh photos of her beautiful family. I just remembered!  My flight home yesterday, the flight attendant’s hair kept catching the sunlight as she would walk by and I thought, man she’s got shine!  But then I later realized that it was only certain sections of her hair. Anyway, I got up to ask her, and I was informed of the magical hair shimmers. Tinsel like material that ties around a hair strand to add some bling to your hair.  So the researching began and here is what I found. She told me about this place in which you’ll actually find a picture of her hair (lower gray)! Trend or not, it’s interesting.  You can find more info at the link at the top.

Happy Monday! I’m finally home in San Francisco! Of course, playing catch up but it’s good to be back. I have a couple fantastic portrait sessions to share with you this week in between some MAJOR wedding production work. Above is a sneak of one of the family portraits – paper airplanes, sunsets, fireman rainboots and holiday lights – you’ll die! I’ll be in San Francisco until Sunday then I fly to LA for a week for 2 catalog shoots – Lilly Pulitzer and Jonathon Adler’s stationary products! So hang tight it’s going to be fast and furious catch up week, hold the mustard!

Well hello everyone!  The blog crickets are in full force, but that’s what happens when I travel!  I depart from Chicago today and fly on over to St. Louis for a fantastic wedding on Saturday…then it’s finally time to head back home to San Francisco.  But I just had to share the oh-so fabulous wedding of Lauren and Brandon!  If it’s not Lauren’s giddy smiles that win you over, it will for sure be the rainy romance that we experienced that day.  Fall was crisp in the air, and the history of their love kept all of us warm and fuzzy.   (more…)

Well hello everyone!  It’s raining cats and dogs here in San Francisco (ok, just the leftovers from the super typhoon that’s all). But it’s actually kind of nice since I have to be indoors working away!  I’m super ecstatic to share Jaimie and Jason’s wedding day with you!  A day full of love and laughter – their families were just a ball to hang out with.  Thank you Angie for a wonderful job being my sidekick shooter!
