OoOoo so excited to finally share my new favorite clothing store in San Francisco with you! Best part?! It’s 4 blocks away from me! I recently stopped in with my camera to do a mini shoot of some of their goodies. I love the throwback concept of one-of-a-kind, custom made clothes, especially these days when you know every other person probably has that same shirt. The next best part?! Oh-so adorable wedding dresses for that perfect outdoor or garden wedding and complimenting laid back dresses for your bridesmaids. So here’s a little bit from Elinor and Evelyne of Eel & Ermine.

“Allow ourselves to introduce . . . ourselves. We’re Elinor & Evelyne, two artists who met while working in a custom cake shop in San Francisco. After our shared passion for desserts resulted in one too many tummy aches, we joined forces to create the kind of treats one can truly never get enough of: great clothes! Elinor and Evelyne have a selected group of fabrics specifically chosen for patten and texture. The fabrics change frequently to keep things fresh. Leftover fabric is used to make accessories for purchase such as pillows, belts, ties, bags and custom ideas – including their Humpty Lumpty dolls (see below).

A one hour dress bar?! Yes please. Pick your favorite style from the rack and have it tailored/altered while you sip tea and munch on homemade snacks.

Loving the look of layers these days. A simple shirt dress, add a fun skirt to go over to change things up. AND one of my favorite pieces – the boyfriend shirt! A man’s shirt completely altered to the ladies’ special flair to fit you perfectly. Elinor and Evelyne suggested this as a great bridal gift!
