Kristen & Ben’s Handmade San Francisco City Hall Mini Wedding
Photos: Edyta Szyszlo
What do you get when two creatives wed in the fall?! Pure yay! Kristen and Ben’s City Hall mini wedding was full of vintage inspirations, diy fall details (like the flowers, can you believe she designed and arranged them!?), lots of laughter, surprises and San Francisco charm. We met Ben at our first look spot and found a wedding date sign that he made then Kristen surprised Ben and family with a pop-up bag reception (including a banner, sparkling cider & Frank Sinatra via her ipod) outside in the plaza. Wondering where she got her dress, here! We had so much fun…this is what weddings are all about. Enjoy!
I love how perfectly simple this wedding looks and feels. Love every bit of it!!

Beautiful pictures. Lovely wedding. I was just wondering if the the city hall rotunda was given by random chance, or was it specifically booked?

as far as i know, everyone that books an ‘elopement’ style ceremony (less than 10 guests) is married any where in the building but the rotunda is most popular. it depends on who the officiant is as well. i’ve been there some days and everyone is getting married in the rotunda 1 at a time. i believe it’s the default location unless you let the officiant know otherwise on the day of.
