Kristin & Eric’s Chateau La Durantie Wedding in Lanouaille, France

Magical! So excited to share this sneak peek with you today. I went on a very fast and furious trip to France last month for an ultra whimsy couple of lovebirds named Kristin and Eric. Engaged in the same region in France (while visiting family and friends), they knew they wanted to throw the party week (yes, week) of the century at Chateau Le Durantie! An entire week of parties was planned up to the wedding day. Alice in Wonderland night, 80′s night and a masquerade party (a popular French royalty event during the 15th century to celebrate royal marriages) kept their besties busy in between their bike rides, cave tours, apple eating, wine drinking and swimming. The wedding day was full of unique details like her metallic dress, helium filled clown fish floating over their ceremony kiss, weddings rings made with cement, sparklers, Baguette (their dog) in a tux, a crepe truck at midnight and much more! Lots to look at so get started!
Vendors:
Venue: Chateau Le Durantie, Catering by a local chef, Bride’s Dress: Nicole Miller, Bride’s Shoes: Michael Kors, Groom’s Suit: Tornade, Florals: Local farmers market, Design Details/Paper Goods: by couple, Wire Bike in centerpiece: Heather Boyd, String Quartet: local musicians, Crepe Truck: local farmers market

I swear I am not being vain but complimentary of Edyta… These photos look great! I can’t wait to see more. Thanks for keeping us in line! You rock!

I absolutely LOVE this wedding! I love seeing that you don’t have to wear white as a wedding dress, I was never fond of white myself and so this has just validated my idea that not wearing white is awesome!
Great photos!
