Travel day! Heading back to Chicago to knock out 2 gorgeous weddings, a product shoot and a commercial portrait shoot. Whew, I know. Posts will be a little light this week…I return Oct. 4th and turn right back around to LA the next day to photograph two catalogs :) But we’ll worry about that next week…ha!

Yup that’s right, I’m one year older today! And actually, now that I look at the clock I was just born 5 minutes ago (915 am). Things have been…ummm, words can’t describe hectic. It’s the busiest time of year for weddings along with the most popular time friends and family like to visit me…haha! So I promise to catch up, hopefully soon. Coming up – San Francisco beach elopement, tutu baby portraits and more and more weddings! Remember handmade birthday cards?! Martha’s got some good ones…

How to explain a photographer that doesn’t like photos of herself? Ha! I don’t mind being in front of the camera, I just don’t like to know about it :) I don’t remember being like this all the time so I’m going to blame it on getting older. I was in much need of more recent photos of myself and wanted them to be as natural as possible while hiding my shyness! (more…)

That’s right! It’s been one whole year since I started blogging. I can’t believe it. I decided to throw myself a little birthday party photo shoot – ha, nothing fancy, just found some balloons in the pantry and played with the kitties.
