Woweee my friend Leah turned thirty! It’s the busiest time of year for weddings/photoshoots and there’s lots of celebrating as well! So very excited to FINALLY talk about this surprise birthday party that I’ve been co-planning for months! We just returned this past weekend from quite the little diy bash. My bff from college, Leah, lives 2000 miles away from me, and she thought I had to photograph a wedding on her 30th birthday. Little did she know that her fiance and I had a little something up our sleeves! That’s right! Today is THE day. My little blog is celebrating her 4th year starting today! Well and she’s not that little anymore. The monthly visitors and pageview numbers have completely shocked me. Mama’s proud ;) It’s been a wonderful adventure in learning, exploring and trending. I’ve met so many people through her, people I call good friends. My gift to her is a refreshing new design, along with a new portfolio site…coming soon! Thank you for your loyalty. I appreciate it so much so that I will be partaking in a piece of cake because yesterday was the last day of my 14 day cleanse :) I take this opportunity now to ask you, what would you like to see or read more on her?

It’s August already, can you believe it?! This month, my Jman turns the big 3-0! I am throwing him a Mad Men style bash at a swanky, vintage and super teeny restaurant/lounge in downtown San Francisco. We have family and friends coming in town to join the rest of our SF folks to celebrate in style (no longer a surprise ;). Yup that’s right, I’m one year older today!  And actually, now that I look at the clock I was just born 5 minutes ago (915 am).  Things have been…ummm, words can’t describe hectic.  It’s the busiest time of year for weddings along with the most popular time friends and family like to visit me…haha!  So I promise to catch up, hopefully soon.  Coming up – San Francisco beach elopement, tutu baby portraits and more and more weddings! Remember handmade birthday cards?!  Martha’s got some good ones…
