This pet portrait session was dear to my heart!  My friend, Marianne, approached me with the news that her little Fifi (a boston terrier) was diagnosed with congestive heart failure.  It was hard to believe because Fifi seemed so young and full of energy. While she is doing much better now (from all the loving care from Marianne and the medicines from the docs), we both knew it was important to get a photo session of her done as quickly as possible :(  So meet Fifi, the mellow and super chic sweet-poo… (more…)

Wow!  I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun I had shooting Liz and Mike’s big wedding day in Chicago!  And of course, I’ve picked out way too many favorites to show and couldn’t edit them down!  The lovely couple gave me an incredible amount of creative freedom with my photography, which is always nice - thank you :)  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did… (more…)

This wedding was amazing!  Jenica and Garrett along with their family and friends were amazing!!  The minute I saw Jenica and her getting ready room I saw ‘old chicago’, well what I picture it to be :)  Very romantic with an old elegance style.  We had a blast and it was SO hard for me to pick favorites for the blog so enough chit-chat and on to the photos!! Amazing couple, amazing weather….AMAZING wedding!  I photographed Kristyn and Doug’s wedding for Imaginative Studios and couldn’t have asked for a more fun day!  Kristyn and Doug, along with their close family and friends were so sweet and so generous.  You could tell that love was in the air and in the incredible blue skies that day!  Lots of images to look through - I just couldn’t pick a few! Isn’t he adorable?! This portrait session was a birthday present for Wally’s mom from his dad - super cute. He was full of energy, I could hardly keep up with him! Lincoln park hosted our playtime and let me tell ya - that red ball was everything to Wally. He was so much fun! Sometimes I wish I could have that much energy! Sneak peek time! I traveled to Joplin, Missouri this time for Kassandra and David’s intimate celebration! A bit camera-shy at first, both shared relaxed and calm spirits over the two day wedding. I have to thank them and their families for being such sports during the unpredictable weather and crazy humidity! I didn’t know my eyelids could sweat that much! The wedding photography reflected nothing but joy and kindness towards one another - it was a pleasure to have shared both days with them! (more…)
