Whoot! It’s Friday and boy do I have a lovely wedding to show you! Shelley and Chris – a sparky yet sweet, super intelligent yet funny, grand’ole time of a couple. We had a blast during their engagement session in North Beach, view here. So I knew their wedding would be nothing short of greatness. Equal parts wine country rustic and charmingly modern, we played in the amazing rose gardens of property, vogued it out at a sweet white barn down the road, stuffed our faces and danced until the stars went to bed. They even had a poetry booth and a sparkler exit! As always, mega thanks to my right-hand photo lady Kara. Congratulations you two!! Enjoy the sneak! (more…)

Hello Thursday! Excited to share Nicole and Jason’s sneak peek with everyone. These lovebirds wed at San Francisco’s super cool Bluxome Street Winery just after the calendar transitioned into the spring season. This kind-hearted duo wanted to throw a friends only bash with incredible french food, fine wine…not to mention they surprised everyone with a fantastic first dance! From their handwritten ceremony backdrop to their pooch, Barrett, joining them in the festivities serving as their ring-bearer, these two made your heart flutter. Nicole and Jason, thank you so much for sharing your special day with Kara (my right-hand photo lady) and I. What a blast! Enjoy the sneak! (more…)

Wowza is this a pretty wedding! Slowly but surely I’ll be showcasing the rest of my fabulous weddings from 2012! Some I can’t show completely as they will be featured…but I can sneak a few in. Christine and Fred, what can I say? The sweetest lovebirds on the planet?! Yep. Gentle spirits, low key and full of appreciation for the pretty. We had some of the best wedding vendors in the SF Bay Area collaborating on this super adorable farmhouse chic themed wedding at Clos La Chance Winery. Blush pinks, succulents and FAB textured linens! Thank you Kara for being my right-hand photo woman, you’re a rockstar! Enjoy this incredibly dreamy day! (more…)

Kate and Jaime decided that after they started planning for a big wedding, it just wasn’t them. So instead, they invited 6 of their closest family members and friends to witness them say their ‘I dos’ at San Francisco City Hall on Valentine’s Day! Shortly after the ceremony, we headed to the Presidio for some dreamy and whimsical portraits in the magnificent forests of eucalyptus trees. It was a beautiful sight :) Her long bohemian locks, a Kate Middleton inspired wedding dress and the hearts in her groom’s eyes made for SUCH a dreamy setting. I love love love the last photos of this set! Enjoy this sneak!! (more…)

Congrats to Courtney and Neal! They tied the knot on New Year’s Eve! The stars aligned and kept the wintery rain away so that we could laugh and play! The Inn at the Presidio is such a cute boutique hotel set in the eucalyptus forests of San Francisco. The Presidio area is always magical with historical barracks and officer’s homes mixed with palm trees and wintery lights. The perfect NYE celebration with their closest 40 friends and family, champagne, dapper threads and lots of love in the air. Courtney designed all her incredible paper details…there’s so many I didn’t have room to show them all! Glittery silver mixed with southern charms made this wedding chic and cool. Super fun being a part of this mega celebration, cheers to 2013 you two! Enjoy the sneak! (more…)

Hello Monday and cheers to 2013! I know, I know – this blog has taken a backseat due to a book deadline. Yep, I said it…a book deadline! I have a book coming out about succulents, ah! Don’t fear, I can’t wait to show you some of the fantastic weddings I shot in 2012 (that haven’t been blogged yet, can you believe it?!) in the next coming weeks. In the meantime, you’ll just have to ooo and ahh over this engagement session I shot just after the new year. It was wonderful getting to know Mary and Chris while we played by the boats in the Dogpatch neighborhood. I can’t wait for their wedding! The lovely ladies of Enjoy Events Co. will no-doubt make it crazy pretty! Enjoy the love shoot sneak peek! Cheers M+C! (more…)

Dreamy sleeved lace dress (made by a Project Runway winner), charming white forals by Natalie Bowen and a cozy mix of navy and black (my current favorite color combo btw). You have to check out her super cute gold sparkle tip nails here! Selina and Zach flew from Colorado for a destination San Francisco mini wedding at our gorgeous City Hall and dinner by candlelight at the swanky Jardinière with their closest family members. Super sweet, thoughtful and game for just about anything :) I was super excited that I was able to take them through one of my favorite neighborhoods, Hayes Valley and let the SF charm soak in. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your lovely little day! Enjoy the sneak! (more…)

Saddle up partners, this one is a doozy of a pretty!! Find MORE pretty over at 100 Layer Cake today, thanks for featuring ladies! These images have been a long time coming (at least that’s what I’ve heard ;)…why? Well, some of you may have heard of Taylor (fashion/lifestyle blogger: Sterling Style & founder of the Glitter Guide, not to mention occasional appearances in the West Elm catalogs and everywhere else). What does a fashion/lifestyle blogger’s wedding look like?! How does she involve her groom’s favorites things you ask? What I loved most were their elements of casual meets glam. Just like their personalities! Nothing stuffy, all smiles, fun and love for these lovebirds. Taylor’s well-rounded planner, Jacin, rocked it out with some amazing florals and details. Our spicy new photobooth snapped away and well, we had a fab time! Big thanks to my right-hand photo lady, Kara!
More from Jacin of lovely little details (she describes it way better than me),
“Taylor and Joey’s wedding was the perfect blend of glam meets backyard bar-b-que. A well-known fashion blogger, Taylor is the voice behind Glitter Guide, an inspirational website for women focused on the latest trends and styles, and she wanted to incorporate her eclectic style in to her wedding. Joey, a Cross Fit trainer and competitor had only one request in the wedding planning process: that BBQ food was served at their garden wedding. Mixing the funky style of fashion with a backyard BBQ was no small feat but what came about on that sunny August day left guests walking away thinking “that was so them.” From gilded BBQ baskets at each table filled with wet naps and bibs carefully tied with golden ribbon to golden stripe straws at the bar to meticulously crafted glitter gelato spoons for the surprise gelato cart that arrived later in the evening (an homage to the couple’s favorite treat!), Taylor & Joey’s wedding was full of meaningful and fun details that really pulled everything together. It is possible to have a backyard affair filled with glam, sparkle, and an ethereal charm – and these two were able to represent not only their own personalities, but also their combined traits as a couple.” (more…)

Magical! So excited to share this sneak peek with you today. I went on a very fast and furious trip to France last month for an ultra whimsy couple of lovebirds named Kristin and Eric. Engaged in the same region in France (while visiting family and friends), they knew they wanted to throw the party week (yes, week) of the century at Chateau Le Durantie! An entire week of parties was planned up to the wedding day. Alice in Wonderland night, 80′s night and a masquerade party (a popular French royalty event during the 15th century to celebrate royal marriages) kept their besties busy in between their bike rides, cave tours, apple eating, wine drinking and swimming. The wedding day was full of unique details like her metallic dress, helium filled clown fish floating over their ceremony kiss, weddings rings made with cement, sparklers, Baguette (their dog) in a tux, a crepe truck at midnight and much more! Lots to look at so get started! (more…)

Happy Friday!! It’s been a busy season, and I’m finally finding pockets of time to share some beautiful weddings with you from this year :) Elaine and Mike – wowza me you are both stunning! A seriously timeless and elegant wedding with a dash of fun and ooze of class. With a magical vineyard backdrop and the classic white architecture of the venue, it really was the best of Sonoma. Friends and family from near and a far (Brazil!) gleamed with smiles…what a fab time!! Don’t let that classic fool you…Elaine had a bit of incredible gold wedge glam under that dress :) You’ll find all the details/vendors at the end. Big thanks to Silvana for being my right-hand photo lady. Oh and if you’re looking for top notch private pilates sessions, Elaine is your gal :) (more…)
