I couldn’t have asked for a more laid back, fun, beautiful and sweet couple to end my 2009 wedding season! Blair and Nathan were set on having a good time and that is what we all did. I seriously think the stars aligned that day, and I truly appreciate how ‘game’ Blair and Nathan were for just about anything. I finally had the pleasure of meeting little Nina this past weekend in St. Louis.  I feel like her unofficial auntie in ways since I photographed her parent’s (Tom & Sam) wedding a couple years ago and now her! She is such a peaceful and pretty little baby!

Sneak post {First off, congrats to our boys for finishing 62 miles for the Tour De Cure bike event in St. Louis!!  It was great to see old friends and meet baby Nina!  Of course, I had to take about a million photos of her, which I’ll share soon.  This will just have to hold you over for a bit :)} (more…)

Happy Monday!  I had an unexpected delivery a couple days ago!  The Knot Missouri & Kansas fall/winter 2009 issue hot of the press!  I don’t think this issue is on stands now but will be soon (at your local bookstore).  My lovely couple, Stephanie & Jim, are featured as the first page of the “Just Married” section page 35.

You’ll also find a nice surprise on page 30 (another boutonniere photo of mine that’s featured in all the fall/winter regional magazines nationwide).  More to come on that later :)

Cute!!  Did you know that they make cupcake icing in a spray can?  Delish!  We shot for a total of 3 days straight, and I couldn’t tell you how many times we said “where’s the tape?”!  It became our savior for just about any problem.  Oh and some more products that Lilly carries – mugs, cocktail shakers and umbrellas, custom wedding invitations, holiday garland, colored pencils and highlighters, oh my! Did someone say pink?!  It was hard not to shove all the gum balls in my mouth!  Yumyum!  Lilly’s line has everything from cards, stationary, party hats, matches, pom-poms, paper dolls, activity books, notebook & guestbooks, wrapping paper, holiday ornaments, cookie cutters, calendars, thermal mugs…you name it, she has it! Hello from San Francisco!  I know, the month of April = crazy!  Sorry for the sporadic posts.  I’m very excited to be photographing a wine country wedding this weekend, jealous?  I prescheduled some posts so you can check out some of my favorite images from my B2B catalog shoot with Lifeguard Press and their Lilly Pulitzer line from last week.  A big thanks to everyone for a fabulous shoot, special shout-out to Cheree Berry Papers for prop-styling/designing and Andrea for sharing her lovely home!  It was a group effort for sure and appreciate everyone’s hard work and creativity :) (more…)

She’s such a little kitty!  Francie was definitely shy and a bit hesitant during her photo vogue moment, but you’d never guess it with these photos.  She’s only a few months old so I’m pretty positive my scary camera wasn’t helping :)  Her mommy lured her in with yummy cookies – I bet someone had a bellyache! Great news! After a phone call from a friend, I found out that one of my images is published in the newest issue of The Knot magazine. This is a special issue as it’s the ‘best of 2008′, where it sums up the best wedding vendors around the country. They also include the ‘best of your local area’ voted by real brides so you can see the ratings for vendors in your area. My image is featured as a ‘trend alert’ for art gallery reception venues located in the midwest; The Randall Gallery in St. Louis. The particular wedding that the image came from is Tom and Sam’s wedding, which was also published in The Knot Missouri/Kansas 2007 issue. I have only done 2 weddings in the St. Louis area (Stephanie & Jim) but they seem to be a huge success!

The issue is on stands now until October!
