Monday. A little bitter since we got some random snow this weekend (those poor tulips) but as soon as I saw my kitties on Moderncat’s gallery this morning, I was happy again :) Desher and Boris = blue paws.

She’s such a little kitty! Francie was definitely shy and a bit hesitant during her photo vogue moment, but you’d never guess it with these photos. She’s only a few months old so I’m pretty positive my scary camera wasn’t helping :) Her mommy lured her in with yummy cookies – I bet someone had a bellyache! (more…)

This pet portrait session was dear to my heart! My friend, Marianne, approached me with the news that her little Fifi (a boston terrier) was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. It was hard to believe because Fifi seemed so young and full of energy. While she is doing much better now (from all the loving care from Marianne and the medicines from the docs), we both knew it was important to get a photo session of her done as quickly as possible :( So meet Fifi, the mellow and super chic sweet-poo… (more…)

I hate to be the one to bring this up….but with summer almost over it’s time to get in gear for the holidays! Ok, I admit….I am SO not ready but the planner that I am, I’d like to help all of you out! It’s time to start thinking and doing. Photographs make the best gifts and cards! Book a casual photography session with your favorite people or pets and let the images say it best. The best is to book a photographer now so there is plenty time for production and card/print ordering, especially if you plan on sending out many holiday cards. You’ll need time to write and ship. Keep your photos simple and theme free for timeless use or add some holiday humor – be creative! Most photographers offer all the products needed to make your prints and cards extra special! Isn’t he adorable?! This portrait session was a birthday present for Wally’s mom from his dad – super cute. He was full of energy, I could hardly keep up with him! Lincoln park hosted our playtime and let me tell ya – that red ball was everything to Wally. He was so much fun! Sometimes I wish I could have that much energy!
