Saddle up partners, this one is a doozy of a pretty!! Find MORE pretty over at 100 Layer Cake today, thanks for featuring ladies! These images have been a long time coming (at least that’s what I’ve heard ;)…why? Well, some of you may have heard of Taylor (fashion/lifestyle blogger: Sterling Style & founder of the Glitter Guide, not to mention occasional appearances in the West Elm catalogs and everywhere else). What does a fashion/lifestyle blogger’s wedding look like?! How does she involve her groom’s favorites things you ask? What I loved most were their elements of casual meets glam. Just like their personalities! Nothing stuffy, all smiles, fun and love for these lovebirds. Taylor’s well-rounded planner, Jacin, rocked it out with some amazing florals and details. Our spicy new photobooth snapped away and well, we had a fab time! Big thanks to my right-hand photo lady, Kara!

“Taylor and Joey’s wedding was the perfect blend of glam meets backyard bar-b-que. A well-known fashion blogger, Taylor is the voice behind Glitter Guide, an inspirational website for women focused on the latest trends and styles, and she wanted to incorporate her eclectic style in to her wedding. Joey, a Cross Fit trainer and competitor had only one request in the wedding planning process: that BBQ food was served at their garden wedding. Mixing the funky style of fashion with a backyard BBQ was no small feat but what came about on that sunny August day left guests walking away thinking “that was so them.” From gilded BBQ baskets at each table filled with wet naps and bibs carefully tied with golden ribbon to golden stripe straws at the bar to meticulously crafted glitter gelato spoons for the surprise gelato cart that arrived later in the evening (an homage to the couple’s favorite treat!), Taylor & Joey’s wedding was full of meaningful and fun details that really pulled everything together. Whoot! This lady celebrated turning 30 fabulously! Last weekend was filled with friends, family and excellent times. Super stoked to have my party featured on 100 Layer Cake today, see it here! I wanted to show you some of my artsy fartsy meets glam (with hints of the 1980s) party decor details, my HOT friends and family struttin in the photobooth and share some of the diy tips. Whoot it’s Friday! And a rainy one at that. Yesterday, I was featured on Style Me Pretty for one oh-so pretty style shoot! We had such a fun team working their magic to help inspire all engaged couples that their home is where the heart is. When thinking of a theme or style for your wedding, cozy things up with inspirations from you very own home/apartment. I was extra excited that we did an indoor, rockin glam, pretty patterned, vintage mix type of wedding shoot. And this San Francisco venue is HOT (so is the model’s makeup)! Vendors listed at the end! It hit stands last week in Chicago, and luckily they were kind enough to mail me a copy out here to CA. Always such a high to see your work printed and to be reminded how GORG my couples really are. Kristen and Gene had a classically retro big day in the windy city, and their one year anniversary is next month! Wow, time flies! Thanks to The Knot for the feature!

I’m going on 4 hours of sleep so I’ve had better Fridays ;) But as soon as I received the tweet that 100 Layer Cake posted Michelle and Jacob’s oh-so cute wedding, coffee couldn’t jolt the excitement I had! Whoo hoo it’s Friday! Perfect day to be featured on 100 Layer Cake for a Kate Spade inspired photo shoot of San Francisco event designers Sitting in a Tree Events and Enjoy Events Co.! The lovely ladies played, partied and planned at the amazing space of The Collection Event Studio located in Sonoma (one stop shop for all things weddings). I love the Bay Area for it’s collaborative feel in the wedding industry. Sometimes industry egos fly and competitive streaks take over…but not here!
