Yay! I’m showing you a sneak which means wedding production is moving along! (weddings left & right hang tight) Annette and Danny, what can I say? Her dimples, his dapper ways, their charming smiles and oh-so cute sneaky looks at each other. There’s nothing you can’t love about this classic and upscale meets handmade San Francisco wedding! And what a great and swanky blank canvas Terra Art Gallery provides! Annette even designed ALL the paper goods! Thanks to my second in photo command Jenna. Enjoy this sneak!!
Don’t be fooled by the word ‘mini’. This Southern duo’s wedding day was big in a cozy way! Emily and Jesse along with 10 of their closest friends and family celebrated under the warm and cozy California sunset. Napa in October, yes. Absolutely in love with Emily’s J.Crew dress and Jesse’s dapper plaid shirt & tie combo. Mini weddings, yes…again. Enjoy this sneak!
Two things I love in the fall – wine country & well everything else that happens in fall because I love it all! Shannon and Jason along with 40 of their closest friends and family flew from all over the country to tie the knot in one of the prettiest destination spots – Napa! With indian summer in full swing here along with charming autumn details and sounds, you can’t avoid wedding romance :) Enjoy their sneak!
Get ready for GORG! Carol and Seth’s multicultural wedding sneak pops a big punch with soft and cute California details. Relaxed yet still classic, Carol and Seth’s lovey day was full of smiles, hugging and tears of joy! I had such a blast with these two photographing their love shoot that I knew it would be memorable. Their wedding was tucked away in the Santa Cruz Mountains where desert vegetation meets redwoods. Man I love this state and what an incredibly magically place to wed! Thanks to my right-hand woman Jenna! Hold on to your hats as these Chinese, Jewish and California cool traditions collide for this sweet wedding day!
Traditional Chinese door games and tea ceremony. Seth had to convince Carol’s bridesmaids that he was worthy of her hand in marriage via poems, juggling and singing. Once approved, the tea ceremony takes place where tea, treats and lucky money are shared.
Hello!! Working away on another crazy fall season (can’t believe tomorrow is the 1st day of fall & my bday)! But let’s focus on today! I’m giving you a sneak of cultural goodness, Nina and Scott’s hybrid Indian-American wedding! Don’t let the bright colors, sparkles and vivid details fool you, this happy couple’s love was delicate and casual. Just the way I like it! The perfect combination of glam and California cool. One minute they’re dancing romantically and then next busting out into a Bollywood dance! And let’s not talk about how gorgeous they both are ;) It was a blast and a nice breath of fresh wedding air. Thanks so much to my right-hand photo lady Abi!
Youna, Tim and I started our serendipitous portrait adventure in the charming Hayes Valley neighborhood just before their SF City Hall ceremony. Pretty pastels, pops of fuschia florals and a lime green bow tie highlighted their soft and charming personalities. It’s really nice photographing a petite wedding (1 of 2 weddings for Youna & Tim) because they tend to be more relaxed and care-free. Youna even showed me one of her skilled talents of piggybacking Tim (Youna, don’t worry I didn’t include that photo here)! Big shout out to Natalie Bowen Designs for the as-always chic florals! Enjoy the sneak!
Pretty sure this lovely wedding will cheer up your Muuuundays right up! Rachel and Andy were full of giggles and laughter! With such easy-going and outgoing families, the day was a photographer’s dream :) We embraced the cool Bay Area summer temps and thick fog to make the day as magical as possible. From custom gray bridesmaids dresses, bright pops of colors and her one shoulder wedding dress, you’ll agree it’s quite the charming event. Enjoy this sneak! And as always, vendors listed at the end.
A lovely, modern chic sneak of a wedding to share with you! I had the pleasure of flying out to Cleveland (1st time staying overnight) to photograph these two lovebirds’ modern diy day. We laughed, toured the city trolley style with family and explored hidden gems (the tour guide thought I was crazy for wanting to take them to the warehouse district!). The charming Chicago duo were extremely gracious and their families were beyond sweet. It was quite the change-up from my list of outdoor weddings this year, but I can see why it was indoors! (hot & humid) Big thanks to my 2nd photographer Josh! Enjoy!
Colors of the day: light pink, grays, whites and black.
Dessert/candy bar! Yummies like popcorn balls, marshmallow lollipops, rock candy, custard-filled pastries and more!
Oh my goodness. This wedding is nothing but whimsy delight. Michelle and Jacob shared their big day with just 15 close family and friends. We started at the magical San Francisco City Hall and continued onto Hayes Valley to enjoy a beautiful lunch at Bar Jules. Fresh and local foods, pretty flowers and lots of romantically quirky details made my heart flutter! I expected nothing less from these creative folks ;) I was more than excited to join them in a photo celebration and you will be too. The end of the post has the most charming wedding announcement in the world! Enjoy!
Fun personalized ad lib place cards – guaranteed good time for friends and family! Eclair puffs instead of cake!
Hello hello! I feel like it’s been work work and not enough sharing. So I’m extra excited to finally show you one of the several shoots in my production que. Meet the amazingly beautiful Amanda and Joel! I had the pleasure of flying to Springfield, MO to rekindle memories and photograph one of my college friend’s big day! Super sweet, kind, easy-going and playful doesn’t even begin to describe these two. Despite the Midwestern humidity and threat of storms, Amanda and Joel’s celebration went off without a hitch! I had so much fun exploring, ooo’ing over everyone’s gorgeousness and capturing nothing but smiles. Big thanks to my second photographer Adie for all your creativity! Hold on to your seat, there’s a lot to see in this rustic meets elegance sneak peek!
Green skies during their 1st look had me a bit scared!
Who needs birdseed, confetti or sparklers when you have a guest tunnel exit?!
To old campus stomping grounds.
Each groomsmen was given a typewriter key tie clip with their initials. Joel wore a tie from his grandfather’s collection and a pocket watch from his great-grandfather. Amanda wore her grandmother’s fabulous cocktail ring (rectangular gold with diamonds, given to her grandmother from her grandfather for their 39th wedding anniversary).
Dessert table with cake pops (made by Amanda and 2 friends can you believe it?!) and cupcakes instead of cake! Baby’s breath bundles in bottles, try that one. Locally grown and bottled olive oil bar!
Fun fact: Joel was one of the architects behind the newly designed reception space. One week before the wedding, Joplin (1 hour away) was hit with severely damaging tornados. Amanda and Joel held a donation style dollar dance and matched the donations for the victims and their families.
So good to see your smiling faces! What a good time and fantastic memories to have! Wishing you lifelong love and laughter!
