Sometimes it’s hard for me to describe why I adore photographing weddings. The gooshiness of love and pure joy of getting “the shot of the day” just isn’t enough. It’s something you feel while photographing. One of my fav wedding photographer’s video proves and visualizes this all in one. This is why I love my job.
ps – check out more from the video creators – Cana Video Production (Ben Potter and Drew Barefoot). If they aren’t the ‘it’ videographers yet they absolutely will be. AMAZING.

A 2007 bride of mine shared a link with me last night with this photo! She had a friend who was married in Sweden – they used Erika Gerdemark Photography…while doing some exploring she found some trash the dress photos on the blog! I just had to share this one – it’s stunning! It’s a trend that’s been around for a while and is spreading universally! It’s about being creative and not destroying memories – you’re creating new ones! Most wedding photographers are game for it so don’t hesitate to ask! Check out the official TTD website. I’m sure your dress will be happy to be worn a second time! Check out the rest of the photo session from above at Erika’s Blog.

Happy Friday!!! This Tying the Knot Moment is one of my favs so far!! Friend and photographer, Michelle Walker (based out of the San Francisco area) emailed these awesome photos to share! Super hip couple, Eulalia and Paul, were married in Chileno Valley Ranch in Petaluma, CA this past May. Their seating cards were hung by string, as seen above. In order for guests to retrieve their name, they had to exchange the seating card with a polaroid taken of them! Super cute! Thanks for sharing Michelle!! Advice: assign the task and station to one or two friends to help the flow.
