I still can’t believe how fast this year has gone by.  My first full year in Chicago - new friends were made and amazing experiences were had.  2008 was a year full of personal accomplishments and discoveries about myself.  To all my 2008 clients - THANK YOU for allowing me to share special moments with you. And let’s not forget that my blog was born!  It’s been a pleasure sharing ideas with you.  I wish ALL of you an incredible night to the New Year!  Have fun and be safe!  Let’s make 2009 a sparkling year!

I’m headed out of town for a few days to enjoy the family, but I wanted to leave you with a little bit of something…COOKIES!  Thanks to Dana for giving me this recipe - it’s my go-to cookie :)  Gooey Butter Cookies (sounds better when you add the word ‘ooey’ in front) were my staple this year for presents and a friend’s cookie swap.  I added a twist this year…color!   (more…)

AMAZING NIGHT!  Obama wins, and I witnessed it.  What an incredible historical event to experience, words can’t describe.  I just got home from the rally and it’s late, so I won’t write much….but wow.  It was so great to share this evening with good friends and hundreds of thousands upon thousands of supporters of change. Whew!  Today was very eventful…I felt like I photographed million items!  Another great day at Paper Source - lots of stuff to do, I barely came up to breathe!  I had a fabulous time with this experience, and I hope to do more in the future :)  Thanks to John, Lisa, and Elaine for all their help - it was such a pleasure meeting everyone!  Enjoy some more… (more…)

Hi!  I know I’ve been slacking on the blogging…but busy doesn’t seem to describe things quite right!  CRAZY!  Thanks for being patient, regular posts will continue soon.  So in the meantime, enjoy these photos from today - my first day shooting with Paper Source.  All went well, everyone was super friendly and helpful and even though this experience will only last 2 days, until their photographer comes back…it was refreshing to do some product photography again!
