Happy Friday! If you haven’t noticed already…things look a bit different around here. Welcome to the new me! Did you see my new business cards here? The official launch of my new portfolio site launched a couple days ago and a girl can’t launch and not throw a party to celebrate! So I quickly planned a little carnival-meets-glam shindig at the offices behind my genius design & website – Asketic SF! I can’t even describe how in love I am with the whole look, and they totally nailed the pin on the donkey right? Thank you to everyone who came out and showed support, much love to you! On Tuesday, I had a delightful outing with friends! SF kids are on spring break this week so I decided to give these little ladies a basic lesson in photography while they documented our walk with disposable cameras. Super fun and refreshing! We grabbed lunch while they waited for photos to print then we crafted photo accordion albums for life-long keepsakes! Of course, I had to photograph them as they captured life on our sunny day. Ah Valentine’s Day. You can let the media make you grumpy about it or you can embrace the day with a little love. Jman and I like to keep things simple and out of the hype. My new best friend, Pinterest, has me visually over stimulated with all kinds of goodies. Some of my Valentine’s Day favorites: dreamy, cozy, romantic, indulgent and effortless. How about you?

Hello Tuesday! Flew back into San Francisco last night to wake up to my blog’s birthday and crazy tired eyes. So worth it! Such a fantastic time  hanging with my ladies Forget Me Knot, Sitting in a Tree Events, Enjoy Events and more! It was just the cure I needed for my winter blues. Lots of good food, new friends, wedding inspirations and bootie shaking was had. Also nice to physically meet all you fine Twitter folks! Bash, Please and Urbanic Paper I clap to you for putting on one fab event! Would love to be a part of the next one, hint hint and wink wink. Can you believe how many recognized holidays/events are happening this weekend?! Lunar Chinese New Year, President’s Day, Mardi Gras festivities, etc. But the big’ole day of love is also playing a part this weekend. I plan on spending it with my main squeeze relaxing with the kitties. Spreading the gushy lovey doveys all around (doveys looks better than dovies). Call it an Xmas present to myself! How was everyone’s holiday? I need a holiday from the holidays, yay for NYE! While out shopping for marketing crafts, I saw these adorable lights hanging from a store called New Asian Style in San Francisco’s Fillmore District. Fell.in.love. I bought the multi-colored strand for $20 but they had many monochromatic shades as well. Wouldn’t these be fantastic for a wedding reception, party or outdoor decor?! Then…. (more…)
