Can you believe how many recognized holidays/events are happening this weekend?! Lunar Chinese New Year, President’s Day, Mardi Gras festivities, etc. But the big’ole day of love is also playing a part this weekend. I plan on spending it with my main squeeze relaxing with the kitties. Spreading the gushy lovey doveys all around (doveys looks better than dovies). Call it an Xmas present to myself! How was everyone’s holiday? I need a holiday from the holidays, yay for NYE! While out shopping for marketing crafts, I saw these adorable lights hanging from a store called New Asian Style in San Francisco’s Fillmore District. Fell.in.love. I bought the multi-colored strand for $20 but they had many monochromatic shades as well. Wouldn’t these be fantastic for a wedding reception, party or outdoor decor?! Then…. (more…)

Yup that’s right, full of the Christmas spirit this year! Seems that during my Thanksgiving break something sparked so here I am sitting at my desk in a room full of garland, fresh pine, ornaments and berries and it’s Dec. 2nd.  So in honor of my spirit and coming back into the blog world, I’m sharing with you some of my favorite finds from my trip downtown SF yesterday. Luckily, my dad sent me some of our old-school felted ornaments from years ago but have you seen these natural buri ones? Thanksgiving is tomorrow…wow, how time has flown by this year! Lots to be thankful for and always…take some time to tell the people you love that you are thankful for them. Beyond thankful for my everyday living essentials – food, family, shelter and friends. I’ll be taking some time away from computers and internet so I’ll see ya next week (thankful for time off)!
