Wow!  I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun I had shooting Liz and Mike’s big wedding day in Chicago!  And of course, I’ve picked out way too many favorites to show and couldn’t edit them down!  The lovely couple gave me an incredible amount of creative freedom with my photography, which is always nice - thank you :)  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did… (more…)

This wedding was amazing!  Jenica and Garrett along with their family and friends were amazing!!  The minute I saw Jenica and her getting ready room I saw ‘old chicago’, well what I picture it to be :)  Very romantic with an old elegance style.  We had a blast and it was SO hard for me to pick favorites for the blog so enough chit-chat and on to the photos!! A few months ago, I was asked to be a part of my college’s alumni art exhibition for the new academic year! It had to showcase my professional work for the theme of the new school year so I decided to put a little twist on it.  Wedding photography has changed so much in the last several years (less traditional more timeless) that there’s no reason why you can’t showcase your photos in your home!  I decided to purchase thrifty frames and update them!  Here’s how… (more…)

Amazing couple, amazing weather….AMAZING wedding!  I photographed Kristyn and Doug’s wedding for Imaginative Studios and couldn’t have asked for a more fun day!  Kristyn and Doug, along with their close family and friends were so sweet and so generous.  You could tell that love was in the air and in the incredible blue skies that day!  Lots of images to look through - I just couldn’t pick a few! Catching up on my blog readings, I just had to share this! Christy of What Junebug Loves blog showcased some fun photo booth opportunities for your wedding guests. Actual photo booths are always a blast but don’t have the budget or access to one? There are plenty of ways to capture incredible memories of your guests being goofy and candid! Advice from a wedding photographer - without a doubt designate an area for the silliness to happen (even ask a friend to help). You want things to stay as organized as possible and make sure you are clear to your guests about the fun opportunity! If they don’t know about it, it won’t happen! Check out Junebug’s two posts (Creative Photo Booth Part 1 & Part 2) and hopefully they will inspire you to get a little crazy!
