Such an adorable mini wedding! Julene and Emerson (the cutest names right?) decided to have a teeny ceremony at San Francisco’s City Hall with 4 of their friends, a cupcake exit and rockin outdoor woodland portrait session in the Presidio after. One of the best Mondays ever! They were game for anything. We laughed, made funny faces, tested Emerson’s jumping abilities, ate Kara’s Cupcakes and spent the lovey dovey afternoon carefree. It was so hard to pick my favorites so this post has a bit more than usual ;) Enjoy the sneak! (more…)

Yay it’s Friday!! I’m off to photograph another super fun Friday wedding (I’m digging Friday weddings!!). Friday equals fun and man, do I have a fun sneak for you! Christiane and Fernando drove from LA to host a poppin good time wedding in San Francisco! We started at San Francisco’s City Hall, pizzazz’d the town with her hot pink and mint bouquet (not to mention her BHLDN shoes and French Connection dress!) and skipped our way over to Tyler Florence’s fab restaurant Wayfare Tavern! Hope you love this sneak as much as I do! (more…)

I don’t have to tell you that spring and summer is in the air! But I will say that spring had definitely sprung on Michele and Ryan’s super sweet mini wedding day. A gorgeous private ceremony on the 4th floor of San Francisco’s City Hall, kissing under the cherry blossoms in Presidio Heights and celebrating with fabulous friends and family at the Spruce….what could be better? Maybe not even chocolate chip cookies ;) Oh wait, Michele’s oh-so classy fur (fake!) bolero is what’s better!! Congrats you classy two! Enjoy the sneak! Big thanks to the FAB Jane Kim (The Glamourist) for Michele’s fantastic makeup and hair styling! (more…)

Yay! Congrats to Karen and Anthony for tying the knot in mini wedding style at San Francisco’s City Hall! They oozed class and canoodled with family on a cozy Friday afternoon. I’m obsessed with Karen’s Kate Spade dress and black tights combo! Ah! Oh and how excellent does her bff look in her poppy red polka-dot dress?! Enjoy the sneak! (more…)

Happy Booking Season! It’s here and it’s in full swing. Hiring a wedding photographer can be quite a drag. Websites/blogs until your eyes pop, chatty consultations galore that make your throat sore, contracts, albums, who’s available/who’s not. It’s like being on first dates over and over! So I’m going to make it easy on you and let you get to know me better through my own online personal ad because you already know I take photos… (more…)

Warning: soggy yet adorable wedding beat the rain with a ton of cheer!! Sure, we could have let this completely outdoor wedding lose against the rain. But my oh-so cute couple, Rebecca and David (remember his Whole Foods Parking Lot hilarity?), kept our spirits high with constant jokes, laughter and mucho dancing while internally we were all scrambling ;) I’ll be honest, it was my last wedding of the season, and the rain definitely had me a bit deflated. But no, the lovebirds kept going – game for whatever we could do and let me tell you….this wedding is beyond bright on all levels! A wee-bit bohemian mixed with rustic handmade details tossed with modern flair and finished with an amazing berry and red color palette (and glittery mary-jane flats), you’ll swoon. Not to mention a buffet of Miette cakes! Huge thanks to Silvana, my right-hand photo woman for the day. So here’s a personal shout out to R & D – may we continue the 80s/ 90s rockin hip-hop/r&b playlist with this and this – thank you for being a blast! Enjoy this sneak! (more…)

So not only was it my bff’s 30th birthday last week (we threw her quite the balloon bash as shown above), but she’s getting married this winter! And yes, the wedding photographer in me knows many of the trends in the whole wedding-hooplah-of-a-world. But I’m a perfectionist that likes exploring my inspirations/ideas. Currently, this maid of honor is planning a west coast & midwest bachelorette bash, I found this well-said article from East Side Bride. I really couldn’t have said it better so I now pass this on to my fellow MOHs and bridesmaid readers! Be the best that you can be :) Feel free to share your advice, ideas and feel-good stories!

Oh my goodness. This wedding is nothing but whimsy delight. Michelle and Jacob shared their big day with just 15 close family and friends. We started at the magical San Francisco City Hall and continued onto Hayes Valley to enjoy a beautiful lunch at Bar Jules. Fresh and local foods, pretty flowers and lots of romantically quirky details made my heart flutter! I expected nothing less from these creative folks ;) I was more than excited to join them in a photo celebration and you will be too. The end of the post has the most charming wedding announcement in the world! Enjoy! (more…)

Happy almost weekend! You remember Kristen and Gene’s Sunday Stroll? Their recent and lovely downtown Chicago wedding was a classic elegance with a hint of retro. Thankfully, the big chance of rain never happened (thanks mother nature!) but the wind gusts took over. But if that was our biggest challenge, fashion wind with a plush veil…well I’ll take it! Super sweet couple with incredible charm! Big thanks to my right-hand photo lady Amy. Enjoy the sneak! (more…)

Best yet, my dream of photographing at Beltane Ranch in Sonoma with the most fantastical couple came true. This handmade-with-love wedding will have you drooling over the gorgeous couple, family and friends along with the diy details. Big thanks to my lovely right-hand photo lady, Jenna!
