Yum! Candy, cupcakes, pies, whoopie pies, ice cream sundaes move over…the float is here! Root beer floats are making a comeback, and I like it. I was always a fan of Coke floats too. Serve them up at a wedding dessert table or as minis passed around, they will be sure to please!
Already love their personal greeting cards but a full wedding invitation suite? Yes please! You can even print your own design on wood. Perfect for a rustic yet modern wedding or for someone who’s looking for a touch of something different! Be sure to check out all their products at the link above.
Super cute, a bit creepy but more cute! Animal photographs and illustrations have taken over Etsy and Renegrade Craft Fair. But I had a hunch that they would make a classy appearance into a wedding soon (after seeing them in wilderness themes, esp baby showers). Well, it’s soon and this wedding did just that! You can find a variety of animal masks out there but vintage adds an extra special flair.
Happy Monday and Christmas week! Last night, I went into full-force baby shower planning mode. I’m hosting a friend’s co-ed baby shower in February. Somewhat a surprise now, I’ll be sure to share the paper/decor goodies process as it comes. Of course, I found something fabulous while hunting for all things stripes. Polka dot paper party straws!! Of course, I still love the vintage-like striped straws but these change things up a bit ;) The online bake shops have the best selection of fun, quirky, cute packaging goods! Visit the link above and my other fav here.
Yay for these guys! And hope to see more pop up. Vintage and antiques have been a huge trend for weddings but it’s often a lot of work. If I had the time to fabulously sip coffee while hunting for goods at the flea markets everyday…I would. But let’s face it, not going to happen. Great trend of 2011, renting vintage and antique decor for your weddings! Loving the idea and loving small start-ups! Not to mention, reuse! Ribbons & Rust has it all!
In case you’re interested, Pantone released the color of 2011: Honeysuckle! An earthy kind of pink, slightly darker than what you see here so be sure to check out more here. Will we see it in the wedding trends of 2011…probably ;)
Vintage and antique rings have been a favorite for with the ladies for a while now. What I like even more? Handmade, artistic, not your average stone or setting and not necessarily expensive (although I’m sure these have a hefty price tag) finger jewelry that engaged/married ladies are sporting these days. Drooled when I saw these…
