A couple weeks ago not only was I spring cleaning, but I had to create a little centerpiece for the ’secret project’ I’m working on…which means I had a mini photo shoot! Two things were decided: I wanted to incorporate birch (because I’m just in love with it) and wanted to spruce up a simple vase. BAM! I came up with birch sleeved vases with diy brooches, fabric flowers and ribbon bouts aka the all-in-one ‘vase boutonniere’! (more…)

You can decorate your reception table, dress your groom and your bridesmaids while strutting your own in your hair, on your dress and in your hands! AH! All categories on site are worth a click-thru.

I realize that most of the country is getting hit by snow but here in SF it sure feels like spring! Spring cleaning itch! This week I had the pleasure of photographing a very charming small wedding affair in St. Helena (just north of Napa). I have to admit, while it’s easy to label it an elopement because this couple whisked away to wine country from Texas…they did bring their immediate family. Someone want to help me coin a new term for the ‘inbetween’ elopement and wedding?! In the meantime, these images will give you the spring that you need! Stunning! (more…)

Be sure to check out yesterday’s post to check out more of my favorite wedding vendors! Above: the cutest cake toppers in the whole wide world by The Small Object! Whew!!! Where am I, who am I and what time is it?!?! Flew back home to San Francisco yesterday and it’s been nonstop catch up today. I’ve barely showered! What a BLAST this past weekend was, and I can’t express enough how adorable all the Indie Wed vendors where! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to see everyone’s booth or meet them for that matter….guess that’s what happens when you have over 1000 people walk through. Anyone else feel like a chicken with their head cut off? Wish I could have taken more photos of the whole event, but I didn’t even use the restroom that day…you get my point :) Btw, feel free to link your photos in the comments! (more…)

Call it an Xmas present to myself! How was everyone’s holiday? I need a holiday from the holidays, yay for NYE! While out shopping for marketing crafts, I saw these adorable lights hanging from a store called New Asian Style in San Francisco’s Fillmore District. Fell.in.love. I bought the multi-colored strand for $20 but they had many monochromatic shades as well. Wouldn’t these be fantastic for a wedding reception, party or outdoor decor?! Then…. (more…)
