Call it an Xmas present to myself! How was everyone’s holiday? I need a holiday from the holidays, yay for NYE! While out shopping for marketing crafts, I saw these adorable lights hanging from a store called New Asian Style in San Francisco’s Fillmore District. Fell.in.love. I bought the multi-colored strand for $20 but they had many monochromatic shades as well. Wouldn’t these be fantastic for a wedding reception, party or outdoor decor?! Then…. (more…)

Well hello everyone!  The blog crickets are in full force, but that’s what happens when I travel!  I depart from Chicago today and fly on over to St. Louis for a fantastic wedding on Saturday…then it’s finally time to head back home to San Francisco.  But I just had to share the oh-so fabulous wedding of Lauren and Brandon!  If it’s not Lauren’s giddy smiles that win you over, it will for sure be the rainy romance that we experienced that day.  Fall was crisp in the air, and the history of their love kept all of us warm and fuzzy.   (more…)

AH! Totally screaming over these!  I wish more couples used cake stands for their weddings.  I understand that a wedding cake feeding over 100 people may not fit on this adorable vintage inspired cake stand by Clara French but maybe consider  inviting less people?! So you know I’ve recently moved, and I’m on the hunt for window curtains!  During my quest, I’ve stumbled upon some super fabric graphics and patterns *drool*. Then I realized my favorite real weddings that hit the blogosphere had wonderful graphic table settings and well…the search continued!  We’ve seen some gorgeous weddings in 2009 with patterned table linens, but I think 2010 will magnify the trend!  Yay!  It’s the perfect way to add that extra something without overspending on centerpieces.  AND the best part?
