Goodness me, don’t these ladies look magical?! I’ve always been a big fan of flowy wedding hair with a cute hair accessory combo. But add real fluffy florals, and I’m instantly smitten with romance and whimsy. Could be the Eastern European in me?! I’ve seen this look worn more by many European or Australian brides (the key is fluffy and full wreaths) and it really adds a pretty pop. Click more to see one of my all time fav fluffy hair wreaths. Veils…you are so 2010 :)

I worked with a fantastic group of ladies from the Bay Area. You must check out their work and HIRE them for your own wedding! And I’m going to go ahead and call a wedding trend for 2011 – outdoor flea market vintage meets GLAM!

A couple weeks ago not only was I spring cleaning, but I had to create a little centerpiece for the ‘secret project’ I’m working on…which means I had a mini photo shoot! Two things were decided: I wanted to incorporate birch (because I’m just in love with it) and wanted to spruce up a simple vase. BAM! I came up with birch sleeved vases with diy brooches, fabric flowers and ribbon bouts aka the all-in-one ‘vase boutonniere’! (more…)

Whew!!! Where am I, who am I and what time is it?!?! Flew back home to San Francisco yesterday and it’s been nonstop catch up today. I’ve barely showered! What a BLAST this past weekend was, and I can’t express enough how adorable all the Indie Wed vendors where! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to see everyone’s booth or meet them for that matter….guess that’s what happens when you have over 1000 people walk through. Anyone else feel like a chicken with their head cut off? Wish I could have taken more photos of the whole event, but I didn’t even use the restroom that day…you get my point :) Btw, feel free to link your photos in the comments! (more…)

Well hello everyone! The blog crickets are in full force, but that’s what happens when I travel! I depart from Chicago today and fly on over to St. Louis for a fantastic wedding on Saturday…then it’s finally time to head back home to San Francisco. But I just had to share the oh-so fabulous wedding of Lauren and Brandon! If it’s not Lauren’s giddy smiles that win you over, it will for sure be the rainy romance that we experienced that day. Fall was crisp in the air, and the history of their love kept all of us warm and fuzzy. (more…)

Grace and Geoff (view engagement) were an absolutely beautiful and smiley couple! Their wedding started the season of travels for me – flying back to Chicago from San Francisco many times until winter. And what a fantastic one to start it all off! They were completely smitten with one another and surrounded with fantastic family and friends. Thanks to Amy (my second photographer) for an incredible job! You’ll totally swoon over these images!
