I recently saw the movie 27 Dresses with a couple of girlfriends! If you’re looking for a feel-good movie (not to mention super chick flick) then this is one to catch! Able to relate to the idea of being a bridesmaid (just last September) it was hard to accept the extreme dress fashion that the movie showcased, but of course it was all in good fun. I thought maybe it would be good to share what’s really hot this year in bridesmaid dresses!! Not to mention it’s always good to keep your wedding day team happy! (more…)

It seems that this subject is very unclear to brides and grooms, including wedding vendors. I recently came across a discussion board where brides were giving their tip suggestions-there was even exact percentages given for each vendor used. While this subject can be a little sensitive due to money worries, but let me make a suggestion. (more…)

Fall is my absolute favorite season! Sure, my birthday kick starts it off but the colors of the leaves and the crisp temperatures outside make it cozy. Brieanne and Brandon’s autumn wedding in St. Helena (about 1.5 hours north of San Francisco) was a perfect event to photograph in so many ways. Their friends and family had a great sense of humor and care for one another. The weather was to die for and what could be more romantic than a wedding in wine country?! Us – wedding vendors know that when the new year begins the newly engaged brides begin to plan! After reading several discussion and message boards, I’ve come to realize that what seems like the most simple task (hiring a wedding photographer), many couples don’t know what it takes to create their picture perfect wedding. Cynthia and Mark had a classic summer San Francisco wedding! With fog and all! A very intimate setting at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, Cynthia and Mark wed on the outdoor terrace with an indoor reception to follow. They were such sports when it came to the wedding photography because China Beach in San Francisco (as seen above) was chilly and the tide was high. Doesn’t she look very Audrey?! Gorgeous. Tom and Sam had a traditional ceremony held at the historic Shrine of St. Joseph church in St. Louis with an artsy reception twist to follow at the Randall Gallery in St. Louis. With Tom’s sense of humor and Sam’s sweet (“oh geez…Tom”) personality, they were truly meant to be together!
