Happy Monday everyone! Hope your weekend went well. I was super excited when Vana contacted me about some product photography tips last week. Her design work is amazing! Silhouettes have been a wedding and design trend for the past couple years and still going strong! She also does custom silhouettes (couples & families) and sells cufflinks, invitations, paper goodies, lockets, etc! Check out her link above and etsy shop, you’ll love it!

Peculiar Pair Press…now that’s a tongue twister! I’m in love with the patterns, textures, colors and fonts hitting the wedding invitation scene. This collage of paper goodness is totally a trend of 2009 and will roll-over into 2010! Read more from this fabulous San Francisco duo (Amy & Mary) and about the picnic in the park wedding.

Yay for Friday! And yay, for my new business card! Bernadette (Elenteny Designs) dropped them off last night, and I’m SO in love with them :) I’m glad she suggested a square card and one focus color – it really makes the impression pop! Yes, I did make this photo a little larger than most posts…I had to show it off! Enjoy your weekend.

Welcome Monday! And wow, do I have the case of the Mondays. We had family in town for a last minute visit this weekend, always nice to see them! Lauren (my man’s sister – visit her etsy shop, Staunch knits) joined me on my Saturday adventure. Over the snow and through the blizzard, to the Paper Source Wedding Workshops we go… (more…)

Wink wink :) Welcome to Monday! Ahhh, do you smell roses and sweet candies in the air? Probably not. Valentine’s Day isn’t until Saturday! I’m not a huge vday celebrater, handmade gifts and warm gestures please me just fine but that didn’t keep me from hunting for some sentimental goodies! Love anything and everything from oh.hello friend’s etsy shop (her blog here), and I’m a sucker for collages in old frames! So hopefully these spark your vday week up! (more…)

“Share, plant and enjoy!” Couldn’t have said it any better! I had to share this so-sweet idea with you – paper that blooms into wildflowers! Botanical Paperworks sells favors, thank you cards, stationary papers, wedding invitations, baby announcements, etc – the best part?! Beautiful flowers, the seeds are inside the paper! Ok, the best part is that they’re eco-friendly and hand-made, even better for 2009… (more…)

I decided to take the afternoon off to window shop today in the freezing cold and of course, walked into Paper Source to pick up more envelopes that I use for my info packets. Guess what I found out?! All Paper Source locations (if multiple stores in your city, each one is hosting) are holding 2 workshops for diy wedding ideas! February 21st enjoy a complimentary day of wedding demos and inspirations – free! March 5th, enjoy an exclusive event called The Wedding Suite for $35 (seated is limited to each location). I plan on heading out Feb. 21st! Check out – Paper Source Weddings 2009 for more info and locations.
