Hello Thursday! Excited to share Nicole and Jason’s sneak peek with everyone. These lovebirds wed at San Francisco’s super cool Bluxome Street Winery just after the calendar transitioned into the spring season. This kind-hearted duo wanted to throw a friends only bash with incredible french food, fine wine…not to mention they surprised everyone with a fantastic first dance! From their handwritten ceremony backdrop to their pooch, Barrett, joining them in the festivities serving as their ring-bearer, these two made your heart flutter. Congrats to Courtney and Neal! They tied the knot on New Year’s Eve! The stars aligned and kept the wintery rain away so that we could laugh and play! The Inn at the Presidio is such a cute boutique hotel set in the eucalyptus forests of San Francisco. The Presidio area is always magical with historical barracks and officer’s homes mixed with palm trees and wintery lights. The perfect NYE celebration with their closest 40 friends and family, champagne, dapper threads and lots of love in the air. Courtney designed all her incredible paper details…there’s so many I didn’t have room to show them all!  Glittery silver mixed with southern charms made this wedding chic and cool. Warning: soggy yet adorable wedding beat the rain with a ton of cheer!! Sure, we could have let this completely outdoor wedding lose against the rain.  But my oh-so cute couple, Rebecca and David (remember his Whole Foods Parking Lot hilarity?), kept our spirits high with constant jokes, laughter and mucho dancing while internally we were all scrambling ;) I’ll be honest, it was my last wedding of the season, and the rain definitely had me a bit deflated. But no, the lovebirds kept going – game for whatever we could do and let me tell you….this wedding is beyond bright on all levels! A wee-bit bohemian mixed with rustic handmade details tossed with modern flair and finished with an amazing berry and red color palette (and glittery mary-jane flats), you’ll swoon. Not to mention a buffet of Miette cakes! Huge thanks to Silvana, my right-hand photo woman for the day. So here’s a personal shout out to R & D – may we continue the 80s/ 90s rockin hip-hop/r&b playlist with this and this – thank you for being a blast! Enjoy this sneak! (more…)

Don’t be fooled by the word ‘mini’. This Southern duo’s wedding day was big in a cozy way! Emily and Jesse along with 10 of their closest friends and family celebrated under the warm and cozy California sunset. Napa in October, yes. A lovely, modern chic sneak of a wedding to share with you! I had the pleasure of flying out to Cleveland (1st time staying overnight) to photograph these two lovebirds’ modern diy day. We laughed, toured the city trolley style with family and explored hidden gems (the tour guide thought I was crazy for wanting to take them to the warehouse district!). The charming Chicago duo were extremely gracious and their families were beyond sweet. It was quite the change-up from my list of outdoor weddings this year, but I can see why it was indoors! I realize that most of the country is getting hit by snow but here in SF it sure feels like spring! Spring cleaning itch! This week I had the pleasure of photographing a very charming small wedding affair in St. Helena (just north of Napa). I have to admit, while it’s easy to label it an elopement because this couple whisked away to wine country from Texas…they did bring their immediate family. Someone want to help me coin a new term for the ‘inbetween’ elopement and wedding?! In the meantime, these images will give you the spring that you need! Stunning! (more…)

Well hello everyone!  It’s raining cats and dogs here in San Francisco (ok, just the leftovers from the super typhoon that’s all). I am beyond words!  Remy and Kevin decided to tie the knot in San Francisco – in a sweet, small and stylish manner. The day couldn’t have gone any more perfect! Grace and Geoff (view engagement) were an absolutely beautiful and smiley couple!  Their wedding started the season of travels for me – flying back to Chicago from San Francisco many times until winter.  And what a fantastic one to start it all off!  They were completely smitten with one another and surrounded with fantastic family and friends.
