Lindsay & Nandi’s Carmel Valley Ranch Wedding

Edyta's Real Weddings — Edyta @ 12:58 PM

Lindsay and Nandi’s wedding was pure magic. Two cultures (well almost 3 if you count the traditions of Louisiana!) fused together with thoughtful traditions in one epic California location. The combination of the light with her unconventional gray dress and the pep of his striped bow tie had me charmed! Their families ever so sweet and super pumped for the day’s events! A baraat, western ceremony lead both both of their fathers, second line parade down to the reception and all the cheer in-between made this an irresistible day. Thank you for letting me into your lives on this big day! Enjoy the sneak! (more…)

How To Organize Bridesmaid Attire – Visuals are Everything!

Fashion,Wedding Advice — Edyta @ 10:57 AM

This maid-of-honor is going to give it to you straight! Chances are you’re all in different cities/states. You all have different tastes. Luckily, bridesmaid wedding trends have gone casual yet still sophisticated so now there’s an actual chance that you’ll wear your dress again, yay :) Once the bride has decided on her bridesmaid look it’s time to get organized especially if she has decided on a variety of styles. I’m a believer that the maid-of-honor literally becomes the executive assistant to the bride. So how do you communicate the wardrobe the ladies (do this for guys too!) should try, buy, wear? Make a visual board! Do it digitally or physically but do it! Here’s the one I made for my friend’s December 30th winter wedding: warm gray color palette. (more…)

Pretty sure this lovely wedding will cheer up your Muuuundays right up! Rachel and Andy were full of giggles and laughter! With such easy-going and outgoing families, the day was a photographer’s dream :) We embraced the cool Bay Area summer temps and thick fog to make the day as magical as possible. From custom gray bridesmaids dresses, bright pops of colors and her one shoulder wedding dress, you’ll agree it’s quite the charming event. Enjoy this sneak! And as always, vendors listed at the end.  (more…)

Mylinh & Patrick’s Real Modern Chic Cleveland Wedding

Photos: Edyta Szyszlo

A lovely, modern chic sneak of a wedding to share with you! I had the pleasure of flying out to Cleveland (1st time staying overnight) to photograph these two lovebirds’ modern diy day. We laughed, toured the city trolley style with family and explored hidden gems (the tour guide thought I was crazy for wanting to take them to the warehouse district!). The charming Chicago duo were extremely gracious and their families were beyond sweet. It was quite the change-up from my list of outdoor weddings this year, but I can see why it was indoors! (hot & humid) Big thanks to my 2nd photographer Josh! Enjoy! (more…)
