They called it a formal with sneakers. Seriously the cutest!! Krystle and Cody’s Sonoma wedding at Ramekins was a little slice of casual meets formal heaven. He loves Nike, she loves Kate Spade and they combined the two to throw a fulfilled wedding in August. I don’t think I ever saw a guest without a huge grin on their face! (more…)
Isn’t that photo the best first look moment?! I’ve been a busy bee photographing several mini weddings and elopements at San Francisco’s City Hall this past April. So lots to show you! First up, the fabulous first mate and captain duo, Melissa and Brian! A very cute adventure with these two. Both lived in the SF Bay Area for many years until recently moving to Denver. Instead of having a big hooplah of a wedding, they decided to tell only their parents/siblings to head to SF for a surprise celebration. They told all their SF friends to meet them for drinks (friends thought casual ‘hey we’re in town’ drinks) then they spilled the news that they married earlier that afternoon! Surprise! A pop-up friends reception! I can dig it ;) We even stopped at their favorite (and first meeting) neighborhood bar. Giggly, sarcastically funny and dapper dressers these two. You’ll love her Kate Spade dress, stunning emerald necklace and feathery Badgley Mischka pumps. Everyone was bright and cheery, my kinda day! Enjoy the sneak! (more…)
Yay! Congrats to Karen and Anthony for tying the knot in mini wedding style at San Francisco’s City Hall! They oozed class and canoodled with family on a cozy Friday afternoon. I’m obsessed with Karen’s Kate Spade dress and black tights combo! Ah! Oh and how excellent does her bff look in her poppy red polka-dot dress?! Enjoy the sneak! (more…)
Whoo hoo it’s Friday! Perfect day to be featured on 100 Layer Cake for a Kate Spade inspired photo shoot of San Francisco event designers Sitting in a Tree Events and Enjoy Events Co.! The lovely ladies played, partied and planned at the amazing space of The Collection Event Studio located in Sonoma (one stop shop for all things weddings). I love the Bay Area for it’s collaborative feel in the wedding industry. Sometimes industry egos fly and competitive streaks take over…but not here! I’m such an advocate of sharing, referring and hiring wedding planners, wink wink! So visit here to see the Q&A and here to view the behind the scenes video from Austin Hendrix Productions. (more…)
