As mentioned in yesterday, things were a little crazy busy at Indie Wed so I failed to meet all the vendors and take their photo, bummer! But I managed to snap a few favorites close by. Be sure to check out yesterday’s post to check out more of my favorite wedding vendors! Above: the cutest cake toppers in the whole wide world by The Small Object! She had to CUTEST marketing materials! (more…)
Whew!!! Where am I, who am I and what time is it?!?! Flew back home to San Francisco yesterday and it’s been nonstop catch up today. I’ve barely showered! What a BLAST this past weekend was, and I can’t express enough how adorable all the Indie Wed vendors where! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to see everyone’s booth or meet them for that matter….guess that’s what happens when you have over 1000 people walk through. Anyone else feel like a chicken with their head cut off? Wish I could have taken more photos of the whole event, but I didn’t even use the restroom that day…you get my point :) Btw, feel free to link your photos in the comments! (more…)
Good news came in the mail yesterday! Shanley and Gino’s 2009 wedding is featured in the new Brides Chicago magazine on stands now! By the way, I’m traveling to Chicago tomorrow through Tuesday – come see me at Indie Wed this Saturday!
Videos are all the rage. But now, videos have entered the wedding world. I have to admit, it takes some special skills to make it look just right (there are plenty not-so-good ones out there, so look into hiring a videographer – some even include it in their packages these days!). A trend that started in 2009, will go all out in 2010. Added bonus is that it’s eco-friendly! Check out some of my favs here, here, here, here.
::Swoon:: Not only do I absolutely drool over the work of Annabel and Dorothée, but take note of this couple’s elegant and charming wedding attire. Patterned, charcoal gray suit, yes please. Knee-length wedding dress with fabulous detail, yes please. Trend of 2010, better be!! Check out more from this wedding here.
Ladies and Gents! Indie Wed (eco-friendly, sustainable bridal market and wedding show) is finally here!! This Saturday, Jan. 30th be there or be square! Tons of fantastic vendors from ALL parts of the country will be there to swoon you right off your feet. So get out of the Chicago cold for the afternoon and hang with us! Buy your tickets here.
I’ll have the fab Smitten Sticks and my camera for your silly pleasure! First 50 get a free instant photo!
Yay for a great start off to my 2010 wedding season! I feel good things for this year, good things. So good that I’m announcing a small detail change with my color photos. I’ve decided to commit to my warmish-old-school-film-like-look to all color images from here on out. It’s only a very slight effect as I do my best to capture it pure from the camera but this will officially become my color ‘style’. Ok, enough tech talk and more LOVE talk! Meet Mary and Andy! Rain, rain and more rain! I have to admit, it’s been kind of nice sipping on a cup of tea and prepping my crafts for my Indie Wed booth decor. Can’t believe I fly out to Chicago next week! Today, I’m sharing a little sneak teaser of the diy photo garland that I will have on display. Hopefully, my booth inspires brides with all types of budgets and gives meaningful, eco-friendly ideas for their wedding decor! My Deshie sure loves ribbon… (more…)

ADORABLE! Not only are the images oh-so cute but Kathleen’s design is spot-on. I loved these bags last year and still do this year ;) Head over to her link here to download the goodies (too bad the brownies aren’t included)! Don’t worry she’ll also tell ya where to purchase the bags!
