It’s Sunday night, which means the Renegade Craft Fair here in Chicago is officially over.  Bummed!  I want to say thanks to all the vendors (and my lovely group of ladies) that came out  to show everyone their incredible work despite the 8 inches of rain we received this weekend!  The next week or two will be dedicated to my favorites from the fair!  Be sure to check back!

Amazing couple, amazing weather….AMAZING wedding!  I photographed Kristyn and Doug’s wedding for Imaginative Studios and couldn’t have asked for a more fun day!  Kristyn and Doug, along with their close family and friends were so sweet and so generous.  You could tell that love was in the air and in the incredible blue skies that day!  Lots of images to look through - I just couldn’t pick a few! Holiday Portraits & Photographs!

holiday photographs

Photos:  Edyta Szyszlo Photography

I hate to be the one to bring this up….but with summer almost over it’s time to get in gear for the holidays!  Ok, I admit….I am SO not ready but the planner that I am, I’d like to help all of you out!  It’s time to start thinking and doing.  Photographs make the best gifts and cards!  Book a casual photography session with your favorite people or pets and let the images say it best.  The best is to book a photographer now so there is plenty time for production and card/print ordering, especially if you plan on sending out many holiday cards.  You’ll need time to write and ship.  Keep your photos simple and theme free for timeless use or add some holiday humor - be creative!  Most photographers offer all the products needed to make your prints and cards extra special!  I’m booking sessions now until end of November for the holiday deadline- contact me for more info and pricing!

Old School Stationers - Wedding & Living Inspirations

old school stationers

Photos courtesy of Old School Stationers

I hope everyone had an awesome Labor Day!!  In keeping with the theme of the last post, I thought I’d share some more designs and prints that could inspire just about anyone!  Old School Stationers is a talented letterpress company based on the west coast with organic ideas.  It’s common for a couple getting married to use their shared hobbies for the theme of their wedding, especially in the favors so why not take it to the next level and use the theme for invites, etc!  Love the retro camping series that they have on their site and the leaves! Check out the wall prints!  Not sure if they do custom orders (worth a try though) but definitely take a peek for color and wedding design ideas!
