Friday Greetings! I had a lovely pampering session at my salon’s holiday party this afternoon. Good chit-chat, food and Aveda products, yes please. I, also, found out that the cutie pie that I spoke to every time I went in or made an appt with, Molly, is a graphic designer by trade. Her envelope security liner holiday cards are not to miss, and I fell in love with her alphabet poster! Did you know she was voted 7×7 Magazine’s favorite Bay Area Etsy store? Where have I been?! Find out more about Molly here and be sure to stop by her booth at the Indie Bazaar – Holiday on Sunday, December 19th from 11-6pm @Brief Space (2nd floor Metreon). I’ll be there! PS – she does custom wedding invitations and consulting for wedding styling!

Big fat gold stars to the whole team for a successful shoot! (more…)

So excited! I had lunch with friends today, and we passed a storefront with these lovely 3d paper snowflakes! I’ve seen it once before but it wasn’t until this evening that the urge to try and make one happened! So easy and jazzes up any space. My fav instructions came from here but be sure to check the How About Orange blog for more goodies. And if you are lazy or not a crafter (shhh I won’t tell) buy the kits here. Snowflake away!

Insert the word mini in front of anything and I love it! Brilliant idea from Hello Hanna – cupcake or sweet stands made out of embossed recycled paper will look adorable as a wedding centerpiece or part of a yummy dessert table. Sold in sets of 6, ready as is or flair it up with more pretties. Purchase at Hello Hanna link above.

This past May, I had the honor (and a blast!) of photographing Cheree Berry Paper’s wedding invitation suites and save-the-dates! They are working on a new website currently and fresh new photos were needed! Can’t wait to see the new site. Her studio’s custom wedding work has been featured in several magazines including Martha Stewart and The Today Show. She’s growing at a rapid rate, and I’m so proud of them! You’ll fall in love just like I have :) Let the drooling begin in this part one… (more…)

So fresh and so clean in design. Love the idea and the colors! How cute would these be at a dessert table or used as props for an engagement session?! Yup, seed implanted in your head ;) Totally digging the creative and drool-worthy light of the photos! I see this hitting the wedding trend in 2010 and 2011! (I wish their ‘making images’ link was working to see the behind the scenes, hint hint!)
