Excited to share Sarah and Eliot’s summer wedding at Murrieta’s Well Winery with you! Such a sweet and down to earth couple, Sarah and Eliot threw a California winery bash with the perfect mix of rustic and fun, modern details. Guests enjoyed the views in the warm breezy air and dined with the wine barrels when the stars came out. Thanks to my right-hand photo lady, Kara for all the great snaps! Enjoy the sneak peek! Isn’t that photo the best first look moment?! I’ve been a busy bee photographing several mini weddings and elopements at San Francisco’s City Hall this past April. So lots to show you! First up, the fabulous first mate and captain duo, Melissa and Brian! A very cute adventure with these two. Both lived in the SF Bay Area for many years until recently moving to Denver. Instead of having a big hooplah of a wedding, they decided to tell only their parents/siblings to head to SF for a surprise celebration. They told all their SF friends to meet them for drinks (friends thought casual ‘hey we’re in town’ drinks) then they spilled the news that they married earlier that afternoon! Surprise! A pop-up friends reception! I can dig it ;) We even stopped at their favorite (and first meeting) neighborhood bar. Giggly, sarcastically funny and dapper dressers these two. You’ll love her Kate Spade dress, stunning emerald necklace and feathery Badgley Mischka pumps. Everyone was bright and cheery, my kinda day! Enjoy the sneak! (more…)
Watch out! Purple and gold coming at you! Last fall, I had the pleasure of photographing a whimsical sweetheart table set with glitter, charm and rustic elements all wrapped into one! Add a hanging centerpiece, hints of yellow and the gloriousness of Holman Ranch, well, you’ve got the perfect wedding! Be sure to check out more images here and see all the fab vendors who were involved at the end! Yay for sparkly animal figures! (more…)
Warning: soggy yet adorable wedding beat the rain with a ton of cheer!! Sure, we could have let this completely outdoor wedding lose against the rain. But my oh-so cute couple, Rebecca and David (remember his Whole Foods Parking Lot hilarity?), kept our spirits high with constant jokes, laughter and mucho dancing while internally we were all scrambling ;) I’ll be honest, it was my last wedding of the season, and the rain definitely had me a bit deflated. But no, the lovebirds kept going – game for whatever we could do and let me tell you….this wedding is beyond bright on all levels! A wee-bit bohemian mixed with rustic handmade details tossed with modern flair and finished with an amazing berry and red color palette (and glittery mary-jane flats), you’ll swoon. Not to mention a buffet of Miette cakes! Huge thanks to Silvana, my right-hand photo woman for the day. So here’s a personal shout out to R & D – may we continue the 80s/ 90s rockin hip-hop/r&b playlist with this and this – thank you for being a blast! Enjoy this sneak! (more…)
Pretty sure this lovely wedding will cheer up your Muuuundays right up! Rachel and Andy were full of giggles and laughter! With such easy-going and outgoing families, the day was a photographer’s dream :) We embraced the cool Bay Area summer temps and thick fog to make the day as magical as possible. From custom gray bridesmaids dresses, bright pops of colors and her one shoulder wedding dress, you’ll agree it’s quite the charming event. Enjoy this sneak! And as always, vendors listed at the end. Happy Friday and GO Giants! A wonderful fall wedding sneak peek today. Meet Karen and Dan. Lovers of food, family and a classy good ole time. A fabulous way to end my wedding season for 2010 in Chicago. Crisp air and crispy leaves ;) Big thanks to Amy for keeping me photo company. I know I’ve somewhat abandoned the blog, but I promise in the next coming months to catch up with more posts about work, trends and charming things! Thanks for your patience! Enjoy the sneak! (more…)
