You GUYS!!! Epic Sonoma Industrial Barn Wedding alert! I had such a blast photographing this one last June with my right hand lady Kayla. Right up my alley with loads of eclectic style, one fun loving couple and some badass guests! Not to mention all the amazing vendors involved!! It’s a big one so hang tight!
Ridiculously romantic. That was Laura and Eric’s Inverness Lodge wedding theme and let me tell ya, it was just that. Of course, they ooze romance themselves naturally but to translate that into a party can be tough with so many other factors. They were beyond successful. I think the new trend in weddings is the small destination style wedding because of just that. You can’t get anymore intimate than inviting less than 40 of your favorite people in the world to share a meal and dance the night away. Manka’s Inverness Lodge Boathouse is a special place. The light, the vibe and the energy of the guests takes it to another level. One of my favorite weddings of 2014! Can we talk about her light pink dress?!?! (more…)
I love it when couples mix and match wedding styles. Lacey Vera Wang and a Navy tux in the hills of the Holman Ranch wedding, yes please. The florals at this wedding were insane…one of my favorites ever. So many happy guests, amazing food and cheer all around. My kind of wedding. I love my couples! (more…)
A classic yet fresh wine country wedding! Masie and Blake celebrated with their best friends and family in wine country style on a beautiful day in October. Fun details of glitter, confetti and pink complimented the Sonoma landscape as they celebrated the night away in Viansa’s chandelier lit tent. Romantic, yes! Gold letter balloon holding bridesmaids, yes!Confetti bomb dance storm yes! Getaway car, yes! (more…)
They called it a formal with sneakers. Seriously the cutest!! Krystle and Cody’s Ramekins Wedding in Sonoma was a little slice of casual meets formal heaven. He loves Nike, she loves Kate Spade and they combined the two to throw a fulfilled wedding in August. I don’t think I ever saw a guest without a huge grin on their face! (more…)
Kate and Adrian’s romantically rustic setting was the perfect contrast to their art deco inspired wedding! The Presidio in San Francisco holds the perfect balance of the two themes and adds the classic charm that most couples love about getting married in San Francisco. Karl the Fog made his appearance as well…after all it was August :) Thanks to all the vendors for this Presidio San Francisco Wedding! (more…)
Most of my couples work in the creative field or in the arts, if not, appreciate it deeply. It’s amazing to see how a couple’s vision comes together for a wedding day! And this was just one of those weddings! With so many wedding themes and styles out there…it’s wonderful when all of the styles mix and really reflect the couple’s personalities. This Hidden Valley Carmel Wedding had a combination of soil ceremony ritual, delightfully sweet friends, musically talented parents (her dad composed and played the piano before their first dance), carefree dancing guests and the most glam heels and neckpiece I’ve ever seen definitely meant a unique and charming wedding in the glowing sun of Carmel Valley. Enjoy the sneak newlyweds! (more…)
Christine and Jordan are quite the dapper duo!! Not only did they have amazing families and friends, but Palm Springs is such a special place :) Just three months prior to their wedding, Jared and I tied the knot in this magical resort town as well. Something about the light, palm trees, pool, mountain views, a fab drink in hand and the memories!! I had such a hard time editing these wedding photos down to just a few (ok a ton) sneak peeks! You’re a beautiful couple with wonderful people in your life! Happy wedding! Enjoy the sneak peek of your Ace Hotel Palm Springs Wedding! (more…)
I thought it’d be fun to recap some great weddings from the past handful of years! Dean and Mike’s hip wedding in Kentucky was especially one of my favorites! You can see my full blog post here. (more…)
Who wouldn’t love to spend the weekend around incredible friends and family deep in a redwood forest to celebrate love?! Sarah and Hunter did just that. Gathering their nearest and dearest, everyone stayed on-site in the cutest A-Frame cabins surrounding by the smells and sights of our Northern California forest. They gathered at the most adorable barn and danced the night away! Many sweet memories were made…I especially like when the best man karaoke’d to the couple during his toast! Such a sweet moment. Many MANY congratulations you two!! Enjoy your sneak peek! (more…)
