We’ve had phenomenal weather here in San Francisco! Sunshine, warm temps and lots of flowers in full bloom. Jane and Clint’s engagement session is nothing short of bright and cheery! Did you know that the poppy is California’s state flower? No wonder they are everywhere :) Jane had the cutest lace dresses on, love…very much looking forward to photographing these gorgeous lovebirds on their wedding day this summer! Enjoy the sneak peek! Hello Thursday! Excited to share Nicole and Jason’s sneak peek with everyone. These lovebirds wed at San Francisco’s super cool Bluxome Street Winery just after the calendar transitioned into the spring season. This kind-hearted duo wanted to throw a friends only bash with incredible french food, fine wine…not to mention they surprised everyone with a fantastic first dance! From their handwritten ceremony backdrop to their pooch, Barrett, joining them in the festivities serving as their ring-bearer, these two made your heart flutter. Nicole and Jason, thank you so much for sharing your special day with Kara (my right-hand photo lady) and I. What a blast! Enjoy the sneak! (more…)

Such an adorable mini wedding! Julene and Emerson (the cutest names right?) decided to have a teeny ceremony at San Francisco’s City Hall with 4 of their friends, a cupcake exit and rockin outdoor woodland portrait session in the Presidio after. One of the best Mondays ever! They were game for anything. We laughed, made funny faces, tested Emerson’s jumping abilities, ate Kara’s Cupcakes and spent the lovey dovey afternoon carefree. It was so hard to pick my favorites so this post has a bit more than usual ;) Enjoy the sneak! (more…)

With our poppies and magnolias in bloom, there was no better time for Sarah and Mo to fly out to San Francisco for their lovely love shoot :) We all know Chicago’s winter can last until June! The goal was to capture this food-loving pair in a casual yet fresh environment enjoying each other in city life…and I think we did exactly that! Such a sweet and genuine couple, I’m beyond excited for their wine country wedding day with Jacin of lovely little details. These guys give me the warm fuzzies, and I’m super giddy with how our photos came out. Enjoy the sneak! (more…)

Happy Friday! It sure snuck up on me. I’ve been battling a severe sick bug all week that’s been no fun. Seeing this feature pop up all over the place yesterday sure brightened my week :) I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Victoria and her lovely San Francisco apartment a few weeks ago for The Every Girl. SFgirlbybay blog is known for savvy interior design, art/culture and everything cool, boho and oh-so pretty. If I could have moved into her Victoria’s apartment, I would. Sleep on the floor…I don’t care :) I love that our city has such inspirational ladies! It’s a great read so enjoy the feature here! Here are some of my favorites from the shoot… (more…)

A little romance for your Wednesday! Liana and Jeff tied the knot among the salty waters of China Beach in San Francisco. The perfect Thursday evening with their closest family and friends, they said ‘I do’ with the waves crashing and the Golden Gate Bridge behind them. I love this little beach for it’s privacy and it’s rustic qualities. A quick stop for photos at the Legion of Honor before their ceremony created an elegant backdrop of romantic neutral tones. A beautiful San Francisco mini wedding for this Berkeley duo.

Yay it’s Friday!! I’m off to photograph another super fun Friday wedding (I’m digging Friday weddings!!). Friday equals fun and man, do I have a fun sneak for you! Christiane and Fernando drove from LA to host a poppin good time wedding in San Francisco! We started at San Francisco’s City Hall, pizzazz’d the town with her hot pink and mint bouquet (not to mention her BHLDN shoes and French Connection dress!) and skipped our way over to Tyler Florence’s fab restaurant Wayfare Tavern! Hope you love this sneak as much as I do! (more…)

Happy Tuesday! If you only knew just how hard the wind was blowing during this engagement session! Probably the windiest I’ve ever experience in San Francisco…hands down. Joelle and Sam were such troopers and somehow through the dust and grit blowing into our faces, still managed to look incredibly cute and oh-so in love ;) The light is so lovely at Land’s End and the Point Lobos area of the Presidio. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean…can’t get any better! Thanks for being such a delight you two!! Can’t wait for the wedding day this fall! Enjoy this sneak! PS – her adorable dress is from Cake Plate! Lotta loving coming your way!! Christine and Fred were quite the stylish duo! You’d think they came walking straight out of a magazine! Such gentle ways with each other…made me giddy to photograph them! We had such a blast strolling the outer sunset neighborhood on a nice and warm morning. We got cozy in the sand dunes’ grasses of Ocean Beach, frolicked by the water, smiled in front of the best house colors ever, ooo’d over the goods that the General Store sells and relaxed with a cup of brew and a mega cinnamon toast from Trouble Coffee! Does life get any better than this?! Enjoy the sneak! (more…)

RED HOT! If a mini dress and slick gray suit don’t do it for you…well, I don’t know what will! Dani and David fled Chicago for a weekend elopement getaway in San Francisco last month. A true elopement. What a blast! They said their ‘I do’s’ at SF City Hall, said hello to an adorable (random) donkey, laughed hysterically by my new favorite mural, kissed while waiting for the F street car, continued making out under the cutest house, held hands and shared their most favorite dessert ever from Miette….carrot cake cupcakes! Days like that make me pinch myself…I have the best job ever! Enjoy their escapade sneak! (more…)
