Hi!  I know I’ve been slacking on the blogging…but busy doesn’t seem to describe things quite right!  CRAZY!  Thanks for being patient, regular posts will continue soon.  So in the meantime, enjoy these photos from today - my first day shooting with Paper Source.  All went well, everyone was super friendly and helpful and even though this experience will only last 2 days, until their photographer comes back…it was refreshing to do some product photography again! A few months ago, I was asked to be a part of my college’s alumni art exhibition for the new academic year! Your natural environment can provide you with so many resources for fall wedding decor.  Leaves and pumpkins seem to be the most commonly used, which is why I loved the use of pinecones here!  You can find pinecones just about anywhere!  The dark brown tones really compliment the hot new color for weddings, purple!  Pinecone Place Card & Pinecone Hurricane Vase

I wanted to share a few of my favorite lighting crafts for wedding decor in the fall.  If you know anything about photography, you know that it’s about the use of light.  It’s important to have a balance of light in your ceremony and reception venues so that the photographer can technically capture your moments but also photograph the feeling.  Nothing sets the mood like candlelight! These 2 ideas are super inexpensive and provide that unique fall touch.  Autumn Illuminated & Cornhusk Votives.

Gifts are so much more special when there’s craft and memories put into them!  With so many options out there for your bridesmaids gifts, I thought these two ideas were perfect!  The blooming ring can be worn during the wedding day and become a fun accessory afterwards.  The memory flip books are precious! Daily Candy beat me to it!  They featured Up in the Air Somewhere a couple days ago in the Chicago edition!  I totally thought wedding centerpieces and wedding registry gifts when I saw these items!  To die for!  I’m a big fan of neutrals and hand-made ceramics.  You have to check out their paper vessels, especially the gold.
