Can you believe how many recognized holidays/events are happening this weekend?! Lunar Chinese New Year, President’s Day, Mardi Gras festivities, etc. But the big’ole day of love is also playing a part this weekend. I plan on spending it with my main squeeze relaxing with the kitties. Spreading the gushy lovey doveys all around (doveys looks better than dovies). Don’t forget to tell the ones you love just how much you love them! XOXOXOXO!

Be sure to check out yesterday’s post to check out more of my favorite wedding vendors! Above: the cutest cake toppers in the whole wide world by The Small Object! Rain, rain and more rain! I have to admit, it’s been kind of nice sipping on a cup of tea and prepping my crafts for my Indie Wed booth decor. Can’t believe I fly out to Chicago next week! Today, I’m sharing a little sneak teaser of the diy photo garland that I will have on display. Hopefully, my booth inspires brides with all types of budgets and gives meaningful, eco-friendly ideas for their wedding decor! My Deshie sure loves ribbon… (more…)

ADORABLE! Not only are the images oh-so cute but Kathleen’s design is spot-on. I loved these bags last year and still do this year ;) Head over to her link here to download the goodies (too bad the brownies aren’t included)! Don’t worry she’ll also tell ya where to purchase the bags!

The lovely Brieanne emailed this strange but delightful tool. A photo conversion tool that allows you to glue and glitter away – even recommending your color palette to ensure accuracy. I’m not quite sure what to gather from it – I love glitter but a glitter photo?! Haha, check out the tool for yourself.

The wedding I currently have in my post-production inspired this one! Since the days of rice throwing, weddings really haven’t had much action in the exit confetti department. Sure, it’s a hassle – from clean up, to wasteful and wedding budget-cuts…exit confetti has seen better days. As a photographer seeking action in my shots, confetti is a great way to add a little emotional punch to your wedding exit (ya it has historical tradition too). You can purchase biodegradable confetti here and here. You can also create your own with unique punch-outs or my favorite idea from dried herbs (lavender being most popular)!! Oooo la la! You can even sew cute little sachets with vintage fabric to add a colorful pop to hands of the aisle guests. I love this couple’s alternative with paper airplanes! Now you have no excuse :)
