Hello all! I know I know, I’ve been slacking on the blog. Let’s just say it’s album design time flavored with new year business evaluation and topped with taking things easy before the next photo season gets crazy! But without giving too much away, I wanted to show you some of my Indie Wed booth details! As you know, I’ll be flying back to Chicago to partake in a fantastic bridal market on Jan. 30th. I have the fine ladies at Dilly Lily helping me out with my booth design as well. I’m going for a charming, rustic, flea-market theme to match my current and revised photography style – do you likie? Come visit me and my Smitten Sticks photo booth! First 50 at my booth get an instant photo!
ps – inexpensive tablecloth fabric purchased at Fabrix, you must go! Reindeer moss purchased at my new fav floral shop in SF called Fleur*t.

So you know I’ve recently moved, and I’m on the hunt for window curtains! During my quest, I’ve stumbled upon some super fabric graphics and patterns *drool*. We’ve seen some gorgeous weddings in 2009 with patterned table linens, but I think 2010 will magnify the trend! Yay! It’s the perfect way to add that extra something without overspending on centerpieces. AND the best part? You can totally diy your way through it…. (more…)

I’ve been in love with House of 3’s digital kits from day one! Their newsletter just popped into my inbox! A new printable kit for popcorn bags, sparklers and garland – what I love most?! The reddish poppy color mixed with blue, and you print it yourself! You could totally use these for your summer wedding and/or 4th of July bash! Link above.

Hope you had a great weekend! While you are reading this, I’m headed out of state for a product photo assignment. I couldn’t leave you hanging all week so I found you some fabulous wedding-related Etsy finds to gawk over (like this eco-friendly napkin holder/bird feeder and table place card). Handmade crafts for weddings equals trend of 2009 for sure. I’ll be out for most of the week but promise to have good things when I come back!
*Any blog posts after this one were scheduled, you’ll know when I’m officially back :) (more…)
