I’m definitely not the traditional wedding type. We know that the garter wedding trend isn’t necessarily followed through these days. But these couture garters (designed by Claire) might change some of your minds! Vintage and modern combine to create a feminine whimsy. You have to check out all her handmade designs here. Btw, how adorable is the name Florrie Mitton!?!?

You won’t believe the past week I’ve had…just when I thought catching up on post production would be the most of my worries…my wallet gets snatched out of my purse during a bridal consultation :( I’ve spent the last few days sorting, making calls and canceling who knows what just to be safe…and yes, my production has suffered.
A long awaited sneak peek! With holidays, traveling and a stolen wallet (pretty much my life) – I promise to do my best to get more images up! I had the pleasure of shooting Alice Padrul’s custom wedding dress line. Thanks to the amazing team! I promise to get all the images up soon :)

Communicating to your bridesmaids can be special and thoughtful! Call me old-fashioned, but I adore hand-written notes and letters! After picking your bridesmaids (read article), send them a hand-crafted note asking them to be a part of your important day instead of calling/emailing. A small gesture with a huge response! Check out Letter Perfect by Martha Stewart. Also, picking your bridesmaids attire can be daunting. With so many options and variety of sizes, it can be hard to keep things straight. Communicate with your ladies by crafting dress, fabric, shoe and jewelry details on paper. This will give everyone an idea of the style and keep communication clear, especially if you live in different regions. Everyone will appreciate having a handy card to reference. Check out Maid-Service by Martha Stewart for templates.
