Lately, I’ve been craving another camping trip so that I can sit outside in the warm breeze and read the million books that I’ve borrowed and have yet to read/finish. So this could have sparked my new obsession with enamel coffee mugs…in love with the vintage white and tin! These colors do just fine too ;) Wouldn’t these be cute at a wedding?! Guests could drink hot chocolate or stuff them with flowers or how about hanging them from trees? Ideas are endless.

I realize that most of the country is getting hit by snow but here in SF it sure feels like spring! Spring cleaning itch! This week I had the pleasure of photographing a very charming small wedding affair in St. Helena (just north of Napa). I have to admit, while it’s easy to label it an elopement because this couple whisked away to wine country from Texas…they did bring their immediate family. Someone want to help me coin a new term for the ‘inbetween’ elopement and wedding?! In the meantime, these images will give you the spring that you need! Stunning! (more…)

Whew!!! Where am I, who am I and what time is it?!?! Flew back home to San Francisco yesterday and it’s been nonstop catch up today. I’ve barely showered! What a BLAST this past weekend was, and I can’t express enough how adorable all the Indie Wed vendors where! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to see everyone’s booth or meet them for that matter….guess that’s what happens when you have over 1000 people walk through. Anyone else feel like a chicken with their head cut off? Wish I could have taken more photos of the whole event, but I didn’t even use the restroom that day…you get my point :) Btw, feel free to link your photos in the comments! (more…)

Grace and Geoff (view engagement) were an absolutely beautiful and smiley couple! Their wedding started the season of travels for me – flying back to Chicago from San Francisco many times until winter. And what a fantastic one to start it all off! They were completely smitten with one another and surrounded with fantastic family and friends. Thanks to Amy (my second photographer) for an incredible job! You’ll totally swoon over these images! AH! Totally screaming over these! I wish more couples used cake stands for their weddings. I understand that a wedding cake feeding over 100 people may not fit on this adorable vintage inspired cake stand by Clara French but maybe consider inviting less people?! During my errands yesterday, I decided to stop by the newly discovered thrift store in my neighborhood. I was specifically looking for a new luggage piece/album carrier but of course a purse, rosie shirt and 3 silk patterned scarves joined the pile :) More on the bag… (more…)
